The AP DEECET 2027 syllabus has two parts. Part A (60 marks) covers teaching aptitude, general knowledge, languages, mathematics, science and social studies at the Class VI to X level of the AP State syllabus. Part B (40 marks) is one Intermediate subject you choose. The online test is expected in June or July 2027.

What does the AP DEECET 2027 syllabus include?
The syllabus is set by the standard of school and Intermediate textbooks of Andhra Pradesh, as laid down in the information bulletin.
- Part A: Teaching Aptitude, General Knowledge, English, Telugu, an opted language (Telugu, Tamil, Urdu or English), Mathematics, General Science and Social Studies, all at the Class VI to X level of the AP State new syllabus.
- Part B: one of Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science or Social Studies, at the level of the two-year AP Board of Intermediate Education syllabus.
How many questions come from each Part A subject?
Part A has 60 one-mark questions, numbered 1 to 60 in the order below.

How are Part B marks split between first and second year?
Part B has 40 questions (numbers 61 to 100) from the subject you chose, split evenly across the Intermediate years or subjects.

How is the AP DEECET 2027 paper marked?
Each question carries one mark, so the paper is out of 100. To get a rank, OC and BC candidates need at least 50% and SC, ST and physically challenged candidates 45% for their reserved seats, as per the 2026 bulletin. Requests for re-totalling or revaluation are not accepted.
Where is the official AP DEECET syllabus?
The syllabus and scheme of the test are in the information bulletin on apdeecet.apcfss.in. The 2027 bulletin is expected with the notification; the 2026 bulletin below has the same scheme as the 2023 one.

How to Prepare for the AP DEECET 2027 Syllabus
- Revise AP State Class VI to X textbooks for Mathematics, General Science and Social Studies in Part A.
- Practise English and Telugu grammar and comprehension, and your opted language, which carries 10 marks.
- Study both years of your Intermediate textbooks for your Part B subject, which carries 40 marks.
- Read up on current affairs and basic teaching ideas for the General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude questions.
- Solve AP DEECET previous year question papers in your medium and check them with the keys.
