DEEET 2027 (Diploma Engineering Entrance Examination of Tripura) is the state entrance test for first-semester Diploma Engineering seats in Tripura’s polytechnics. It is conducted by the Central Selection Committee of the Education (Higher) Department. The notification is expected in March 2027 and the offline OMR exam in June 2027.

DEEET 2027 Important Dates
CSC has not released the DEEET 2027 schedule yet, so the dates below are expected months based on the 2026 cycle. In 2026 the notification came on 12 March, registration ran from 20 March to 7 May and the exam was held on 4 June 2026.

How to Apply for DEEET 2027
You apply online only at deeet.tripura.gov.in; there is no printed form. Registration for 2027 is expected to open in March 2027, and the steps below follow the 2026 prospectus. You need your own mobile number and a unique email ID.
Apply Online for DEEET 2027
Applications for DEEET 2027 are expected in March 2027.
- Open the DEEET portal and register with your name, gender, date of birth, email ID and mobile number (verified by OTP). Note the registration number shown.
- Log in with your registration number or email ID, password and the verification code.
- Fill in your profile: parents’ or guardian’s names, category, BPL ration card number (if any), PRTC status and addresses.
- Upload your photograph (JPG, up to 250 KB) and signature (JPG, up to 100 KB), plus caste, PwD, ESM or BPL ration card documents if they apply to you.
- Enter your Madhyamik (Class 10) details, choose two of the five exam centres, preview the form and submit it.
- Pay the fee online by debit card, credit card or net banking, then print the payment receipt and acknowledgement page.

Processing charges and GST are extra, and the fee is not refunded. Name, gender, date of birth and email ID cannot be changed after registration, and the form cannot be edited after final submission, so check every detail first.
Who can apply for DEEET 2027?
You can apply if you meet these conditions, as set in the 2026 prospectus (the 2027 rules will be confirmed in the new notification):
- You must be a permanent resident of Tripura. A PRTC is checked at document verification.
- You must have passed Madhyamik (Class 10) or an equivalent exam from TBSE, CBSE or another recognised board, as required by AICTE.
- Students appearing in Madhyamik in the same year can apply, but must meet every condition and show original certificates at document verification.
- There is no maximum age limit.
- Candidates already admitted through DEEET in an earlier year cannot apply again.
Seats are reserved for SC, ST, PwD and wards of ex-servicemen (ESM) under Tripura government rules. The 2026 prospectus does not set a minimum percentage in Class 10.
What is the DEEET 2027 exam pattern?
DEEET is a two-hour offline test of multiple-choice questions marked on an OMR sheet, for 400 marks. The 2026 scheme is below; the 2027 scheme will be confirmed in the new prospectus.

- Each correct answer gets 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
- Each question has four options (A to D), and you darken the answer with a black ball-point pen.
- The question paper is in both English and Bengali, in three sets: A, B and C.
- PwD candidates get 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour if they show the original PwD certificate at the centre.
- Questions follow the DEEET syllabus posted by CSC, which covers the Madhyamik subjects Mathematics, Physical Science and English.
Where is DEEET held and what can you carry?
DEEET is held at centres in Agartala, Udaipur, Belonia, Ambassa and Dharmanagar. You pick two of them while applying, and CSC allots one based on demand and your choice.
- The admit card is downloaded from the DEEET portal with your login, and you must carry it to the exam hall. In 2026 it was released on 16 May.
- Calculators, mobile phones, earphones, cameras and any metal item are not allowed.
- Geometry or pencil boxes, bags, purses, any paper or printed material, food and water are also not allowed in the hall.
- You sign the OMR sheet, the attendance sheet and the question booklet, and you must return the OMR sheet before leaving.
How are the DEEET answer key and result released?
CSC posts a provisional answer key for sets A, B and C soon after the exam, takes feedback for a few days and then publishes the final key. In 2026 the provisional key came out on 5 June, one day after the exam, and the final key on 8 June 2026.
The result is shown on the DEEET portal after you log in, and CSC also publishes provisional merit lists (common, SC, ST, PwD and ESM) on the Higher Education website. The merit list shows each candidate’s total score and section-wise scores in English, Science and Mathematics.
- There is no re-checking or re-evaluation of OMR sheets, and no review after the result is published.
- No separate qualifying cut-off was published for 2026: all 715 candidates were placed in the provisional common merit list, with a top score of 375 out of 400.
How does DEEET 2027 counselling work?
Seats are filled through online counselling on the DEEET portal, in order of merit. After the result you fill and lock your choices of institute and branch, and CSC allots seats in rounds, followed by document verification and admission at the allotted institute.
The 2026-27 seat matrix lists 14 branches, and its branch totals add up to 1,203 seats. The institutes are Tripura Institute of Technology Narsingarh, Women’s Polytechnic Hapania, Dhalai District Polytechnic Ambassa, Gomati District Polytechnic Udaipur, North Tripura District Polytechnic Dharmanagar, TTAADC Polytechnic Khumulwng, Techno College of Engineering Agartala and CIPET Agartala.
Bring these originals, with two photocopies each, to document verification:
- Two recent passport-size photographs, the online application acknowledgement and the DEEET admit card
- Madhyamik marksheet, and the Madhyamik admit card or birth certificate as proof of age
- PRTC as proof of residence (a citizenship certificate is not accepted)
- SC/ST, PwD, ESM or BPL certificates, if you claim them
- Character certificate from the head of your last school, issued within six months
- CSC seat allotment letter, and a seat surrender certificate if it applies
You must attend document verification in person, or your candidature is cancelled. In 2026 two allotment rounds were held, with the final round 2 result on 15 July 2026.
