Goa ITI Admission 2027 is the online, merit-based admission to trades in the 10 Government and 3 Private ITIs of Goa for the 2027-28 session, run by the Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (DSDE). There is no entrance test: merit lists use Class 8 or Class 10 marks. Applications are expected to open in June 2027 on itiadmission.goa.gov.in.

Is there an entrance exam for Goa ITI admission 2027?
No. DSDE fills ITI seats in Goa on merit. You apply online, your documents are checked by an ITI, and you are ranked on the marks of your qualifying class: Class 8 for Class 8 based trades and Class 10 (SSC) for the rest.
Separate merit lists are made for Class 8 and SSC applicants, and each is split by category (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD and the special quotas). Seats are then allotted online in rounds, according to your merit number, category and the trade and ITI preferences you set in the form.

Goa ITI Admission 2027 Important Dates
DSDE has not announced the 2027-28 schedule yet. In 2026 the online application ran from 1 to 26 June 2026 and the final merit list came on 7 July 2026, so applications for 2027 are expected to open in June 2027.

How to Apply for Goa ITI Admission 2027
You apply only online on the ITI admission portal, itiadmission.goa.gov.in, which is also linked from the DSDE website. Paper forms are not accepted, and one application covers all Government and Private ITIs in Goa.
Apply Online for Goa ITI 2027
Applications for Goa ITI 2027 are expected in June 2027.
- Open itiadmission.goa.gov.in (or the ITI admission link on dsde.goa.gov.in) and create an account with your basic details, verified by OTP.
- Fill in your personal and educational details and set your trade preferences in order.
- Upload your documents: passport photo as a JPEG between 10 KB and 100 KB, and other documents as PDF or JPEG under 2 MB each.
- Submit the form and pay the Rs 330 online processing fee by UPI, debit or credit card or net banking.
- The ITI verifies your form and documents. If it is marked for compliance, correct it and submit it again on the portal.
- Check the provisional merit list and, if anything is wrong, raise an objection at the nearest Government ITI within the objection window.
The table shows the 2026-27 fees at Government ITIs. The processing fee is paid with the form; tuition fee and caution money deposit are paid online after you accept an allotted seat. The caution money is refundable.

Private ITIs charge their own fees. In 2026-27 the total was Rs 3,000 at Sesa Private ITI, Rs 13,180 at Indo-German Private ITI and Rs 20,000 (one-year course) at Montfort Private ITI. Seats in the IMC quota at Vasco Government ITI cost an extra Rs 5,000 a year.
Who can apply for Goa ITI admission 2027?
You need to have passed Class 8 or Class 10, depending on the trade, and be at least 14 years old on the first day of the session. In 2026-27 the minimum age was 16 for Drone Technician and 18 for Driver cum Mechanic (LMV) and Drone Pilot (Junior).

Students who took Everyday Mathematics, General Science or the CWSN versions of Maths and Science in Class 10 cannot join trades that need Class 10 with Science and Maths. Fire Technology and Industrial Safety Management also has minimum height, weight and chest standards.
You must have lived in Goa for at least 10 years before the date of application, shown by a Mamlatdar’s residence certificate or school leaving or bonafide certificates. Children of Central or State Government employees posted in Goa, of registered freedom fighters and of certain armed forces personnel and ex-servicemen are exempt, and the rule is relaxed for orphans and, after Round 2, for vacant seats.
How to Check the Goa ITI Merit List and Seat Allotment
Goa publishes one merit list per qualification, first as a provisional list and then as a final list, as category-wise PDFs for Class 8 and SSC applicants. After that, each round’s result is a seat allocation list showing the ITI and trade allotted to you.
- Open the DSDE admission page or the admission portal after the provisional merit list date.
- Open the list for your qualification (8th or 10th class) and your category, and find your application number.
- Check your marks, percentage and other details. Report any error at the nearest Government ITI during the objection days.
- After the final merit list, open the seat allocation list for each round. It shows your merit number, admitted category, allotted ITI, allotted trade and the preference number it matched.
In the 2026-27 Round 1 allotment on 9 July 2026, DSDE allotted 1,433 seats to SSC applicants and 370 seats to Class 8 applicants.
How does Goa ITI seat allotment work?
After the final merit list, DSDE allots seats online in two rounds, and later rounds are held at the ITI level. In 2026 Round 1 came on 9 July, Round 2 on 21 July, and ITI-level rounds ran from 3 to 6 August 2026.
- Log in to the admission portal to see your allotment and choose to accept the seat, reject it, or accept it and stay in the next round for a better option.
- If you accept, pay the tuition fee and caution money deposit online within the payment window (9 to 14 July in Round 1 of 2026).
- Visit the allotted ITI with your original documents and photocopies for physical verification, and track your status on the portal.
- Before Round 2, check the vacant seat position and reshuffle your trade and ITI preferences on the portal. Vacant reserved seats are converted to General category in Round 2.
- Once admission is confirmed, download your admission card from the portal (Inbox, then Application) and report to the ITI.
- Documents for verification: photograph, Class 8 or 10 mark sheet, birth certificate, Aadhaar card, residence or bonafide certificates for 10 years in Goa, and the latest leaving or bonafide certificate.
- If they apply to you: Goa caste certificate (SC, ST, OBC), income certificate up to Rs 3 lakh with your name on it (for the fee waiver), BPL or AAY ration card, EWS or PwD certificate, and quota certificates.
- A medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner is needed at admission.
Which ITIs and trades are available in Goa?
The 2026-27 prospectus lists 10 Government and 3 Private ITIs in Goa, offering 44 trades (23 engineering and 21 non-engineering). Most trades are affiliated to NCVT, which awards the National Trade Certificate; a few are under the Goa SCVT.

Government ITIs run two shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Check the trade-wise seat intake of each ITI in the latest prospectus before you set your preferences.
How are Goa ITI seats reserved?
Reservation applies in both Government and Private ITIs, but only if you claim it in the application form. These are the 2026-27 rules.

What is the expected Goa ITI 2027 cut off?
Goa does not publish a cut-off list, but the 2026 Round 1 lists show where seats closed. The table gives the Class 10 percentage of the last General-category candidate allotted each trade in Round 1, across the Government ITIs that offer it.

These figures are AglaSem’s reading of the official 2026 Round 1 lists, not an official cut off. Women, OBC, ST and other categories have their own seats and closing points, and later rounds usually go lower. Expect the 2027 pattern to be similar, with Electrician the hardest trade to get.
