Haryana ITI Admission 2026-27: Last Date, Merit List, Fees, Seats

Haryana ITI Admission 2026-27 is the online, merit-based admission to Government and Private ITIs in Haryana, run by the Directorate of Skill Development and Industrial Training (SDIT). There is no entrance test: merit comes from Class 8, 10 or 12 marks. The last date for admission in all trades is 15 October 2026.

Is there an entrance exam for Haryana ITI admission 2026-27?

No. SDIT Haryana fills seats in all Government and Private ITIs of the state through one online merit list. Your merit is the percentage of marks in the class the trade asks for, and seats are allotted round by round according to your merit, category and the trade and ITI choices you filled.

Haryana ITI Admission 2026-27 Important Dates

The admission portal lists 15 October 2026 as the last date for admission in all SCVT and NCVT trades for 2026-27; registration for 2027-28 is expected to open in June 2027, as it did on 2 June 2026.

How to Apply for Haryana ITI Admission 2026-27

You register once on admissions.itiharyana.gov.in, pay the counselling fee and lock up to 15 trade and ITI choices. You need a valid mobile number, Family ID (Parivar Pehchan Patra), Aadhaar number and email ID before you start.

1. Open the admission portal and choose New Registration. Fill in your name, gender, category, qualifying-class marks, parents’ names, mobile number, Aadhaar, Family ID and email ID.
2. Note the registration number and password sent to your mobile by SMS. Keep the password private.
3. Upload your photograph and signature, Class 8, 10 or 12 marksheet, and, where they apply, your Haryana resident, category and income certificates.
4. Pay the non-refundable counselling fee online by card or net banking, or at a Common Service Centre (CSC). Forms without the fee are not taken into the merit list.
5. Log in again and fill up to 15 trade and ITI choices in order of preference, then lock them before the deadline. Choices can be changed only before final confirmation.
6. Take a printout of the submitted form. Details cannot be edited after the fee is paid; to correct a mistake you must cancel the form and apply again with a fresh fee.

The counselling fee is the only charge at the application stage. Government ITI fees are paid online after your documents are verified at the allotted ITI.

How is the Haryana ITI merit list prepared?

Merit is the total percentage of marks in the minimum qualification of the trade: Class 8 marks for Class 8 trades, Class 10 marks (best five subjects) for Class 10 trades and Class 12 marks for Class 12 trades. If your marksheet shows CGPA, convert it with your board’s CGPA-to-percentage factor.

• Class 12 pass candidates applying for Class 10 trades get 5 extra marks (60% or more in Class 12) or 3 extra marks (below 60%).
• Graduates applying for Class 12 trades get 5 extra marks.
• Children of widows get 5 extra marks.
• Residents of a village panchayat that gave land for a Government ITI get 5 extra marks for that ITI.
• In trades that need only Class 8, Class 10 pass candidates get preference; Class 8 pass candidates are admitted only if Class 10 pass candidates are not available.

Ties are broken by higher marks in Mathematics, then Science, then English, then by the older candidate, and finally by the candidate’s name, father’s name and mother’s name in English alphabetical order.

How to Check the Haryana ITI Merit List and Seat Allotment

SDIT does not publish a separate merit list PDF for each student. Each round is a merit cum seat allotment result that you check on the portal, and the seat details also come to your registered mobile by SMS.

1. Open Know Your Result on the admission portal, enter your registration ID and name, and select the merit list round.
2. Or log in to the student portal with your registration number, password and captcha, and download your provisional seat allotment letter.
3. Report to the allotted ITI, where your uploaded documents are checked against the originals.
4. After successful verification, the fee link opens in your login. Pay the fee online before the deadline, or the seat is cancelled.
5. Submit your original documents at the ITI within one week of the start of classes to make the admission permanent.

• If you are allotted a seat and do not take admission, you are left out of the next round unless you pay a fine of Rs 500 (boys) or Rs 250 (girls).
• You may join a later round after taking admission, but your earlier seat is cancelled and the fee paid is not refunded.
• The first three rounds are only for Haryana residents. Candidates from other states join the merit list from the fourth round onwards.
• The 30% women’s reservation in co-ed ITIs ends after round 2, and all reservation ends after round 3.

In 2026, merit lists came on 17 July, 28 July and 7 August. After that, vacant seats were filled through new applications from 14 August and on-the-spot admission at ITIs from 17 August 2026.

Who can apply for Haryana ITI admission 2026-27?

You need to have passed Class 8, 10 or 12, depending on the trade, from the Haryana Board (HBSE) or an equivalent board. The minimum age is 14 years on 8 August 2026, and there is no upper age limit.

• Dual System of Training units in hazardous industries need a minimum age of 17 years 9 months on 8 August 2026.
• Candidates already in full-time employment need a no-objection certificate from their employer.
• Divyang candidates can choose only trades listed as suitable for their disability and need a disability certificate of at least 40% from a competent medical board.
• Bring a character certificate and the originals of your marksheet and category certificates when you report at the ITI.

How many ITIs and trades are there in Haryana?

The 2026-27 prospectus lists 397 Government and Private ITIs running 93 trades. The institute-wise and trade-wise seat list is on the admission portal under District Wise Institutes List and View Vacant Seats.

Women trainees in Government ITIs pay no tuition fee, and the department lists extra support such as a tool-kit grant of up to Rs 1,000 for girls and SC trainees and Rs 6,000 a year for women in engineering trades such as Fitter, Welder and Machinist.

How are Haryana ITI seats reserved?

Reservation applies only to permanent residents of Haryana, as per the 2026-27 prospectus.

The Deprived SC share stays reserved only up to the second round. In trade units run under the Scheduled Castes Sub Plan in Government ITIs, 75% of seats go to SC candidates.
