The JEPBN 2027 result will be a rank card with your score and General Merit Rank (GMR), downloaded from the WBJEEB candidate sign-in. It is expected in August or September 2027. In 2026 the final key came on 11 August and e-counselling started on 10 September 2026, after the result.

How to Check the JEPBN 2027 Result
- Open the WBJEEB JEPBN page on the result date.
- Click the Rank Card for JEPBN 2027 link.
- Sign in with your application number, password and the security pin shown.
- View your rank card and check your name, score and ranks.
- Print it with the portal’s Print option; screenshots and phone photos are not accepted as documents.
What does the JEPBN 2027 rank card show?
- Your name, roll number and application number
- Your JEPBN score
- General Merit Rank (GMR)
- Category ranks (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS or PwD), where they apply
WBJEEB does not publish a rank or score list. Only you can see your rank card.
How is the JEPBN 2027 merit list prepared?
Candidates are ranked in descending order of total marks as the GMR. Seat allotment uses the GMR only; category ranks are for information. When marks are equal, WBJEEB breaks the tie in this order:
- Higher total marks in Part B
- Fewer negative marks in total
- Fewer negative marks in Part B
- Fewer negative marks in Part A
- Older candidate by date of birth
- Earlier application number
Every candidate who sits the exam gets a rank card with a score, but WBJEEB sets a cut-off rank or score, so not everyone gets a rank that makes them eligible for counselling. Any score grievance must reach [email protected] within 24 hours of the result.
What is the expected JEPBN 2027 cut off?
JEPBN has no fixed pass mark; admission depends on your GMR. As a reference for 2027, these are the 2025 opening and closing GMRs (Open category, Home State) at the government colleges and two large private colleges, from WBJEEB’s official ORCR report for JEPBN Counselling 2025.

What happens after the JEPBN 2027 result?
WBJEEB runs online e-counselling for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing seats after the result. In 2026 it had three rounds between 10 and 30 September 2026.
- Register for counselling with a Rs 500 fee and fill your choices in order of preference (WBJEEB advises at least 20), then lock them.
- Check the seat allotment result and pay the Rs 1,000 seat acceptance fee online.
- Report to the allotted institute for document verification with the allotment letter, rank card, Class 10 admit card or birth certificate, all semester mark sheets, nursing certificate and any category or domicile certificates.
- If you get a lower choice, opt for Yes or No upgradation for the next round. West Bengal Government staff also need the Letter of Permission (TR) and an experience certificate.
