What is the JEPBN 2027 syllabus?
The JEPBN syllabus is the list of GNM subjects in section 2.3 of the WBJEEB information bulletin. It has two parts.

Part A covers the basic and allied subjects of the GNM course. WBJEEB does not split the 40 questions subject-wise.

What is the JEPBN 2027 exam pattern and marking scheme?
Each correct answer gets 1 mark and each wrong answer loses 1/4 mark, in a 90-minute paper of 100 questions in English.

Higher total marks in Part B are the first tie-breaker in the merit list, so Part B matters twice.

How to Prepare for the JEPBN 2027 Syllabus
- Start with Part B, since it carries 60 questions and decides ties.
- Revise your GNM textbooks for Medical Surgical, Obstetrical and Community Health Nursing in depth.
- Do not skip short Part A subjects such as Nutrition, Microbiology and Pharmacology; together they carry 40 marks.
- Solve JEPBN previous year question papers in 90 minutes on a practice OMR sheet.
- Mark only one option per question. A double mark costs 1/4 mark, like a wrong answer.
