Karnataka M.Pharm Pharm.D 2026 is the entrance test the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) holds for M.Pharm and Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) government seats in Karnataka for 2026-27. It is not part of PGCET. KEA has not notified it yet; applications are expected in October or November 2026 and the test in December 2026.

How to Apply for Karnataka M.Pharm Pharm.D 2026
You apply online on the KEA website once the 2026 notification is out, expected in October or November 2026. Last year KEA used one common application for M.Sc Nursing, MPT, M.Sc AHS, M.Pharm and Pharm-D, and the registration window was open for just 12 days, so apply early.

Applications for Karnataka M.Pharm Pharm.D 2026 are expected in October 2026.
- Open the M.Pharm and Pharm-D 2026 link on the KEA PG courses page at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
- Fill in your personal, academic and reservation details. You can edit them any number of times before you accept the declaration.
- Note the application ID and password that KEA shows on screen and sends to your email.
- Upload a recent colour passport-size photo and your signature in JPG format.
- Accept the declaration. After this, you cannot change any detail in the form.
- Pay the fee by bank challan at a listed bank branch or by net banking.
- Take a printout of the final application form. You need it at document verification and seat allotment.
Do not upload or post any certificates with the form. You show the originals at document verification. Government in-service candidates must apply through their Head of Department.

Who can apply for Karnataka M.Pharm Pharm.D 2026?
You can apply if you are an Indian citizen of Karnataka origin with a B.Pharm degree from a college in Karnataka and at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC, ST and Category-I). The same rules apply to M.Pharm and Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate).
- Karnataka origin means you were born in Karnataka, or your father or mother has lived in Karnataka for at least 10 years, with a Tahsildar certificate to prove it.
- Your B.Pharm must be from RGUHS or another recognised university or institution located in Karnataka.
- Final-year B.Pharm students can apply, but must show the result and the final-exam hall ticket at document verification.
- You must be below 45 years of age on the last date to apply.
- In-service candidates who already hold, or are studying for, a PG degree cannot apply.
What is the Karnataka M.Pharm Pharm.D 2026 exam pattern?
The test is a 90-minute, 100-question objective paper in English, written on an OMR sheet at centres in Bengaluru only. One paper is used for both M.Pharm and Pharm-D. The questions come from the PCI B.Pharm syllabus.

The 2025 bulletin gives two subject splits: 20 questions each from general topics and the four branches, or 25 each from the four branches. Prepare all four branches equally, and practise with previous year M.Pharm Pharm.D question papers.
How does KEA prepare the merit list and allot seats?
KEA ranks you on your entrance test marks. You must score at least 50% in the test (40% for SC, ST and OBC) to get a rank.
Ties are broken by test marks first, then fewer B.Pharm attempts, then higher total B.Pharm percentage, then higher final-year percentage. Seat allotment is online: you download a claim slip, enter options from the seat matrix and take part in a mock round and up to two allotment rounds.
