Is there a MAH B.Planning CET 2027 exam?

No. The State CET Cell does not hold any entrance test called the B.Planning CET. Under the 2026-27 information brochure, B.Planning seats are filled on JEE Main Paper 2B (B.Planning) scores first. Seats left vacant go to candidates with an MHT CET score, then to D.Voc pass-outs, and finally on Class 12 marks.

So to get a B.Planning seat in Maharashtra in 2027, you need to appear for JEE Main 2027 Paper 2B or MHT CET 2027, and then register separately for the B.Planning CAP. Both exams have their own application forms, admit cards and results; nothing is issued for B.Planning alone.

MAH B.Planning CET 2027 FAQs

Do I need to write a separate exam for B.Planning in Maharashtra?
No. There is no separate B.Planning CET. You need a JEE Main Paper 2B (B.Planning) score or an MHT CET score, and then you register for the State CET Cell B.Planning CAP.
Is JEE Main Paper 2B or MHT CET better for Maharashtra B.Planning admission?
JEE Main Paper 2B. Seats are filled first on JEE Main B.Planning scores, and MHT CET candidates are considered for seats that remain vacant. All India candidates with a JEE Main score also get preference over MHT CET candidates.
Is B.Planning admission in Maharashtra part of B.Arch admission?
No. B.Planning is a separate four-year course with its own CAP portal, merit list and rounds. B.Arch admission uses JEE Main Paper 2A or NATA and has a different process.
Can I get B.Planning admission with only Class 12 marks?
Only at institute level. Under the 2026-27 rules, candidates without a JEE Main B.Planning or MHT CET score could be admitted only to seats left after CAP, if they meet the 45% (40% reserved) Class 12 requirement.
Is there an admit card or answer key for MAH B.Planning CET 2027?
No. The admit card, answer key and scorecard come from the exam you take, JEE Main from NTA or MHT CET from the State CET Cell. The B.Planning CAP itself issues only merit lists and seat allotments.
