MAH M.HMCT CET 2027 is the online entrance test conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra for admission to the two-year Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (M.HMCT) course for 2027-28. The 2027 dates are not out yet. Going by 2026, registration should open in January 2027 and the exam should be held in March 2027.

How to Apply for MAH MHMCT CET 2027
You apply for MAH M.HMCT CET 2027 online only, on the CET registration portal linked from cetcell.mahacet.org. The form has not opened yet. In 2026 registration ran from 7 January to 23 February 2026, after two extensions.
Apply Online for MAH MHMCT CET 2027
Applications for MAH MHMCT CET 2027 are expected in January 2027.
- Open cetcell.mahacet.org and go to the CET (Examination) portal for 2027-28 when registration starts.
- Register with your mobile number and email ID. State CET Cell verifies your Aadhaar and APAAR ID through DigiLocker, so make sure both are correct and up to date.
- Fill in your personal, graduation and category details and choose your preferred exam centre.
- Upload a recent colour photo (2 x 2 inch, 100 KB to 5 MB, plain light background) and your signature.
- Pay the fee online by card, net banking, UPI or wallet.
- Print the confirmation page and keep your application number and password safe.
The fee below is from the 2026 brochure. It is non-refundable, and State CET Cell will confirm the 2027 fee in the new brochure.

Who can apply for MAH MHMCT CET 2027?
You can apply if you are an Indian national with a hotel management degree and the minimum marks below. The rules are from the 2026 brochure.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (B.HMCT) or an equivalent degree.
- At least 50% aggregate marks, or 45% for backward class, EWS and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra.
- Final-year students of the qualifying degree can also appear for the CET.
- If your university gives grades or CGPA, the percentage is worked out by your university’s own conversion method.
Candidates from Maharashtra’s reserved categories must show caste validity and non-creamy layer certificates (except SC and ST for non-creamy layer) at document verification.
What is the MAH MHMCT CET 2027 exam pattern?
MAH M.HMCT CET is a 60-minute online test of 50 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks, in English only. Each question has four options and carries 2 marks, and there is no negative marking.

How does M.HMCT admission work after the CET?
Your CET score is used in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) run by State CET Cell for M.HMCT seats in all government-aided and unaided institutes approved by the state and affiliated to a non-agricultural university in Maharashtra.
After the result you register for CAP, get your documents verified and fill an option form. In 2026 all technical education admissions for 2026-27 had to be completed by 14 September 2026.
