National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is looked forward to conduct NCHMCT JEE 2018. NCHMCT is responsible for academics of B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration and nine other structured courses of study. In total there are 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 19 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 1 Public Sector Undertaking and 14 Private Institutes. Marking scheme

For sections “Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude”, “Reasoning & Logical Deduction”, “General Knowledge & Current Affairs”, “English Language”

  • Correct answer leads to award of one mark.
  • Wrong answer leads to deduction of 0.25 marks.

For “Aptitude for Service Sector” there will be graded mark(s) component in the following manner

  • Most appropriate answer carries 1.00, the next appropriate answer carries 0.75, the next to next appropriate answer carries 0.50.
  • Inappropriate answer shall carry negative mark of 0.25.

NCHMCT JEE 2018 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  1. An aspirant must have passed in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects.
  2. Those who will appear in 10+2 or equivalent in coming year can also apply for JEE 2018.

Age Limit

  • For General and OBC categories – Upper age limit is 22 years i.e. who are born on or after July 01, 1996.
  • For SC/ST candidates – They must be born on or after July 01, 1993.
  • For Physically challenged applicants – Upper age limit for them will be reckoned based on the category they belongs to.
Most queries on NCHMCT JEE 2018 right now are on “I was born on so-and-so date, am I eligible?” To know whether you are eligible or not, check whether your DOB is on or after 01 July 1996 (General/OBC) or 01 July 1993 (SC/ST). If yes, then you are eligible.

Physical Fitness

Selected aspirants will have to provide the physical fitness certificate during the admission process from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

NCHMCT JEE 2018 – About Joint Entrance Examination

All India merit list will be made as per the performance of aspirants in JEE written test. Aspirant scoring higher marks in English section of JEE will be ranked higher. In case, there is a tie between two or more aspirants in JEE, as well as in English section then aspirant who obtained more marks in Service component of JEE will be ranked higher. Even after the mentioned cases, there occurs a tie then senior aspirants will be ranked higher.

NCHMCT JEE 2018 – Application Form

Registration Process: Visit the official website of NCHM and you need to register for NCHM JEE 2018. You will need to enter the details such as Name of candidate, Date of birth, category, Email-ID and verification code to generate your login Registration number. Login to fill the application form: Now you have to enter your registered Email-ID and date of birth for successful login.

In NCHMCT JEE 2018 Application Form, aspirants are required to enter personal details, educational details and other basic details. Once you have completed the application form, tick the declaration box and click on ‘save’. Next, aspirants have to upload their signature and photograph as per the specifications. The size of images must not exceed 50 Kb. Then, click on next.

Now, you have to make the payment, click on ‘Make Payment’ and you will be redirected to online payment mode,here you have to enter payment details. If you receive the e-Receipt the transaction was successful. Once you have filled the application form 2018, take the printout of application form.

NCHMCT JEE 2018 – Admit Card

Aspirants will be issued the admit card in the month of April, 2018 from the official website www.nchm.nic.in. They must preview their admit cards if all details are accurate or not. It is necessary to carry the admit card to the examination centre otherwise you will not be permitted to write the exam. Admit card comprises the necessary details such as Name, Roll number, photograph, signature, exam schedule, venue address and important instructions.

You can know your results through the official website www.nchm.nic.in in the month of May, 2018. All India merit list will be made as per the performance of aspirants in JEE written test.
