What is NCHMCT JEE 2026?
NCHMCT JEE stands for the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination. Moreover it is the national-level hospitality entrance exam organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of NCHMCT under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. NCHMCT JEE 2026 Application Form
The NCHMCT JEE 2026 application form was available online at exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM from 26 December 2025. Subsequently the last date to submit the form was extended to 1 April 2026. Candidates registered using a valid email ID and mobile number, logged in to fill personal details, academic details, exam city preferences (4 choices allowed), and uploaded a scanned passport-size photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications. After that, candidates paid the application fee online and downloaded the confirmation page for future reference.

- SC / ST / PwBD / Third Gender: Rs. 450
Payment was accepted online through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Furthermore the fee is non-refundable in all cases.
NCHMCT JEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
NCHMCT prescribed the following eligibility criteria for the NCHM JEE 2026 examination. Candidates must verify each condition before applying.
- Qualifying exam: Class 12 (10+2) passed or appearing in 2026 from a recognised board with English as one of the subjects.
- Age limit: Below 25 years as on 1 August 2026; candidates must be born on or after 1 July 2001. Reserved category candidates get a 3-year age relaxation (born on or after 1 July 1998).
- Provisional appearance: Candidates appearing in Class 12 final exam in 2026 may apply provisionally; admission stands cancelled if proof of qualifying exam is not produced at counselling.
- Nationality: Indian citizens; NRI / OCI / PIO candidates may also apply.
- Minimum marks: No specific minimum percentage requirement, making the exam accessible to a wide range of students.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 question paper carried 200 multiple choice questions across 5 sections for a total of 800 marks, with a duration of 3 hours. Additionally the marking scheme is +4 for each correct answer and -1 for each incorrect answer; unanswered questions carry no penalty. The exam pattern is summarised below.

NCHM JEE 2026 Admit Card
NTA released the NCHM JEE 2026 admit card on exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM approximately 3 to 4 days before the exam. Login required the application number and date of birth. Subsequently candidates printed the admit card and carried it along with one valid government photo ID (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN / Driving Licence / Passport) to the exam centre. NCHMCT JEE 2026 Answer Key
NTA released the NCHM JEE 2026 provisional answer key shortly after the exam on 25 April 2026, along with the recorded responses and question paper. Candidates could challenge the provisional answer key through the candidate login on exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM by paying Rs. 200 per challenged question till 9 May 2026. NCHMCT JEE 2026 Counselling & Admission
NCHMCT conducts the centralised counselling for NCHM JEE 2026 at nchmcounselling.nic.in. Qualified candidates register for counselling, fill institute and course preferences, pay the counselling fee, and participate in the seat allotment process based on All India Rank, category, and choice of institute.
