NCHM JEE 2027 is the national entrance exam for the 3-year B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA) at Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated to NCHMCT. NTA conducts it as a 2-hour computer-based test. Dates are not announced yet. Based on 2026, the form is expected from December 2026 and the exam in April 2027.

How to Apply for NCHM JEE 2027
You apply for NCHM JEE 2027 online at exams.nta.nic.in/nchm-jee once NTA publishes the information bulletin. In 2026 the form opened on 26 December 2025 and, after an extension, closed on 1 April 2026, so the 2027 form is expected from December 2026. There is no offline form, and you may submit only one application.
Apply Online for NCHM JEE 2027
Applications for NCHM JEE 2027 are expected in December 2026.
- Go to exams.nta.nic.in/nchm-jee and read the information bulletin.
- Register with your mobile number and email ID, and note your application number.
- Log in and fill in your personal, category and Class 12 details.
- Choose the question paper medium (English or Hindi) and four exam cities.
- Upload a recent photograph and your signature, and a PwD certificate if it applies.
- Pay the fee online by debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI or wallet.
- Download the confirmation page and keep a printout.

Bank processing charges and GST are extra, and the fee is not refunded. After the form closes, NTA opens a short correction window; in 2026 it was announced on 3 April 2026.
Who can apply for NCHM JEE 2027?
You can apply for NCHM JEE 2027 if you have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam with English as a subject, or are appearing in it in 2027. There is no age limit.
- Qualifying exam: Class 12 from a recognised board, intermediate or pre-university, NIOS or a state open school with at least five subjects, GCE A level, HSC vocational, or an exam that COBSE or AIU accepts as equivalent.
- English: you must have studied English as a core, elective or functional subject in the qualifying exam.
- Appearing students: you can take the test provisionally, but you must show your Class 12 pass proof at counselling or admission. In 2026 the deadline was 30 September 2026.
- Age: no upper age limit, as per the National Education Policy.
- Minimum marks: the bulletin sets no minimum percentage in Class 12.
- Medical fitness: at admission you must submit a certificate from a registered doctor that you are fit for the course’s practical classes.
What is the NCHM JEE 2027 exam pattern?
NCHM JEE is a 2-hour computer-based test with 120 multiple-choice questions for 480 marks. Each correct answer gets 4 marks and each wrong answer loses 1 mark. The table shows the 2026 pattern, the latest official one, which cut the paper from 200 to 120 questions.

Which institutes admit students through NCHM JEE?
NCHM JEE scores are accepted by every institute affiliated to NCHMCT for the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The 2026 bulletin listed these institutes:
- 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, such as IHM Pusa (Delhi), IHM Mumbai, IHM Bengaluru, IHM Chennai and IHM Kolkata.
- 33 State Government IHMs.
- 1 public sector undertaking institute.
- 2 PPP-run State IHMs.
- 25 private IHMs.
In Central IHMs, 15% of seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC-NCL and 10% for EWS candidates, with a share for PwD candidates. State IHMs follow their state’s reservation policy. The course runs for six semesters and covers food production, food and beverage service, rooms division and hospitality management.
How do you get a seat after NCHM JEE?
NCHMCT gives seats through online counselling at nchmcounselling.nic.in, based on your NCHM JEE rank, category and choice of institutes. Passing the test does not by itself give you a seat.
- Register for counselling and fill your institute choices. In 2026 the registration fee was Rs 2,000.
- Check the seat allotment result for your round.
- Upload your documents and pay the seat acceptance fee (Rs 20,000 in 2026) to keep the seat.
- Take part in the final round if you want a better seat or did not get one.
- Report in person at the allotted IHM with your original documents.
