NCHM JEE Answer Key 2027: Date, Challenge, Score

The NCHM JEE 2027 provisional answer key will be released by NTA on exams.nta.nic.in/nchm-jee along with your recorded responses, expected in May 2027. You can challenge an answer for Rs 200 per question. In 2026 the key came out on 7 May 2026 and challenges closed on 9 May.

Latest (22 May 2026): NTA published the NCHM JEE 2026 final answer key with the result on 22 May 2026. The NCHM JEE 2027 answer key is not out yet.

How to Download the NCHM JEE 2027 Answer Key

Go to exams.nta.nic.in/nchm-jee.
Click the answer key challenge link for NCHM JEE 2027 when it is live.
Log in with your application number and date of birth or password.
View the question paper, your recorded responses and the provisional key.
Note the question IDs where your answer and the key differ.

What is the NCHM JEE response sheet?

The response sheet shows the option you marked for each question, matched to its question ID. NTA displays it with the question paper for two to three days before the result. Compare it with the key to see which of your answers are correct.

How can you challenge the NCHM JEE 2027 answer key?

You can challenge any answer in the provisional key by paying a non-refundable Rs 200 per question, within the window NTA announces.

Log in and open the answer key challenge page.
Select the question ID you want to challenge and choose the option you think is correct.
Upload supporting proof if you have it.
Pay Rs 200 per question online and submit before the deadline.

Subject experts review every paid challenge. NTA then publishes the final key, and the NCHM JEE result is prepared from it. NTA does not reply to each challenge individually.

How to Calculate Your NCHM JEE 2027 Score

Count your correct answers and multiply by 4.
Count your wrong answers and subtract that number (1 mark each).
Unanswered questions get 0.
If a question is dropped, everyone gets 4 marks for it.
The maximum score is 480 (120 questions x 4 marks).

Example: 80 correct and 20 wrong gives 320 – 20 = 300 out of 480.

When will the NCHM JEE 2027 answer key be released?

NTA has not announced the date. Based on 2026, when the key came out 12 days after the exam, it is expected in May 2027.

Is the challenge fee refunded if my challenge is accepted?

The bulletin calls the Rs 200 per question a non-refundable processing charge, so do not count on a refund.

Can I challenge the final answer key?

No. NTA does not accept any challenge after the final key, and the result is based on it.

Is there sectional cut-off in NCHM JEE?

The bulletin does not set a sectional cut-off. Your total marks decide your rank.
