Manipal MET 2027 (Manipal Entrance Test) is the computer-based entrance test that Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) holds for B.Tech, pharmacy, nursing, allied health and several postgraduate programmes. MAHE has not announced the 2027 dates yet. Going by 2026, the test is expected in two phases, in April and May 2027.

How to Apply for Manipal MET 2027
You apply online at apply.manipal.edu, where one application covers the programme you choose. The 2027 application window has not opened yet; in the 2026 cycle registration opened on 30 September 2025, according to news reports. The steps below follow the 2026 process.
Apply Online for Manipal MET 2027
The Manipal MET 2027 application dates have not been announced yet.
- Register at apply.manipal.edu with your email ID and create a password.
- Fill in the application form and choose your programme. In Phase 1 of 2026 you could take tests for up to 4 UG programmes, or 2 PG programmes, because the test ran in 4 slots.
- Choose 3 test-centre cities in order of preference. You cannot pick the city or centre later.
- Pay the application fee online before the last date of the phase you want.
- When the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) opens, book your test date and slot. Slots are given first come, first served and cannot be changed.
- Download your e-hall ticket from your account in the hall-ticket window.

MAHE has not announced the MET 2027 fee. Check the amount shown on apply.manipal.edu before you pay. To log in later, use your registered email ID and password; the portal has a Forgot password option that sends the password to your registered email.
How do the MET phases and the second attempt work?
MET runs in two phases, and Phase 1 applicants can take the test twice. These rules are from the 2026 schedule and may change for 2027.
- Phase 1 (2026): last date to apply 23 March, slot booking 31 March to 2 April, test on 13 and 14 April with two slots a day.
- Phase 2 (2026): for candidates who applied after the Phase 1 last date and by 30 April; test on 23 and 24 May with one slot a day, so you could take at most 2 papers.
- Second attempt: if you applied by the Phase 1 last date, you could take one more attempt in Phase 2 by paying Rs 1,200 between 21 and 25 April 2026, without a fresh application.
- Candidates whose first attempt is in Phase 2 do not get a second attempt.
- The second attempt is in the same test city as the first. A booked slot cannot be changed.
- B.Des and BFA at SMI had only one attempt in 2026.

Who can apply for Manipal MET 2027?
Eligibility depends on the programme. For B.Tech through MET you need Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
- Optional subject: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or a technical vocational subject related to Computer, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical streams.
- Marks: at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and one optional subject together, for admission on MET rank.
- MAHE also admits B.Tech candidates through the JEE Main rank list, which needs 75% in the same subjects.
- MAHE admits candidates in the Indian (domestic) category or the Foreign / NRI category; NRI, OCI and PIO candidates apply under the international route.
- Pharmacy, nursing, allied health and PG programmes have their own eligibility rules in MAHE’s eligibility documents.

M.Pharm is not on MAHE’s 2026 list of MET programmes.
What is the Manipal MET 2027 exam pattern?
The B.Tech test is a 120-minute computer-based test of 60 questions for 240 marks. This is the latest official pattern, from the MET 2026 B.Tech syllabus.

- MCQ: +4 for a correct answer, -1 for a wrong answer, 0 if left blank.
- Numerical answer type: +4 for a correct answer, no negative marking.

What do you need on the Manipal MET exam day?
Carry one printed copy of your e-hall ticket and one original photo ID to the test centre, and report one hour before your slot.
- Accepted ID (2026): passport, driving licence, voter ID, Aadhaar card, PAN card, or school or college photo ID card.
- Your photo and thumb impression are captured at registration at the centre.
- Reporting times in 2026: Phase 1 Slot 1 at 8:00 AM (exam 9:00 AM) and Slot 2 at 1:00 PM (exam 2:00 PM).
- In 2026 the test was offered in 78 cities across India and in Dubai.
- MAHE can audit CCTV footage, answer patterns and rough sheets, and may disqualify a candidate for malpractice.
