Manipur ITI Admission 2027: Dates, Form, Selection List

Manipur ITI Admission 2027 is the merit-based admission to trades in the Government ITIs of Manipur for session 2027-28, run by the Directorate of Craftsmen Training (DCT), Government of Manipur. There is no entrance test: selection is on Class 10 or Class 8 board marks. Online registration on itiregistration.in is expected around June 2027.

Latest (23 July 2026): DCT Manipur published the 2026-27/28 selection lists and reopened registration for vacant seats up to 7 August 2026. Classes began on 1 September 2026, so the 2026 cycle is over; registration for 2027-28 is expected around June 2027.

Is there an entrance exam for Manipur ITI admission 2027?

No. The Directorate of Craftsmen Training fills Government ITI seats strictly on merit. Each ITI selects candidates on their marks in the Class 10 board exam, or on Class 8 or Class 10 marks for trades whose minimum qualification is Class 8.

Seats follow the reservation roster of the State Government of Manipur. Each ITI prepares its own trade-wise selection list and waiting list; if a selected candidate does not take admission in time, the seat goes to the next candidate on the waiting list in order of merit.

The 2027 schedule has not been announced yet. In 2026 the selection lists came on 20 July and admissions ran from 21 July to 4 August 2026, so registration for 2027-28 is expected around June 2027.

How to Apply for Manipur ITI Admission 2027

You apply online only, on the registration portal itiregistration.in, once the 2027-28 registration opens. There is no paper form, and the registration fee of Rs 40 is paid online.

Applications for Manipur ITI 2027 are expected in June 2027.

Enter your Aadhaar number, upload your Aadhaar card and verify the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar with the 6-digit OTP.
Fill in your personal details, then your other details: social category and the trades you want.
Upload a recent photo, your signature and the mark sheet of your qualifying class, plus a category, ex-serviceman or trade-experience certificate if it applies to you. Images must be JPG or JPEG, up to 2 MB each.
Pay the registration fee of Rs 40 online and keep a copy of your completed form. You need it again when you take admission at the ITI.

The admission fee rates were set by DCT notification of 15 July 2026 and apply from session 2026-27 onwards until further orders.

How to Check the Manipur ITI Selection List

You check it on the registration portal, where DCT posts the ITI-wise selection lists as PDFs. In 2026 every ITI issued its own admission notice with trade-wise lists on 20 July 2026.

Open itiregistration.in.
Click the result list link on the home page (in 2026 it was titled Result List, 2026).
Find the admission notice of the ITI you applied to, then the list for your trade.
Look for your name or form number. The list shows your percentage and category.
Note the admission dates printed in that ITI’s notice and report within them.

The 2026 lists of Govt ITI Imphal showed the form number, name, phone, gender, address, father’s or guardian’s name, date of birth, percentage and category of each selected candidate.

DCT does not publish trade-wise cut-off marks. Your chance depends on your percentage, your category and the seats in the trade at that ITI. If seats stay vacant, DCT may reopen registration; in 2026 it reopened registration from 23 July to 7 August 2026.

What to Do After You Are Selected for a Manipur ITI

Go to the ITI that selected you within its admission dates, with your original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies. In 2026 admissions ran from 21 July to 4 August 2026, and selection lapsed for candidates who did not complete admission in time.

The admission fee is paid through a bank challan issued at the ITI’s admission counter, and the institute copy of the challan must be handed back to the counter. The fee is split as below.

Who can apply for Manipur ITI admission 2027?

You can apply if you have passed Class 8 or Class 10, as the trade requires, and are within the age limit. The 2026-27 brochure set the age at 14 to 40 years as on 1 July 2026; the 2027 brochure will give the new reference date.

You need an Aadhaar card and a mobile number linked to it to register. Keep these ready:

Class 8 or Class 10 mark sheet and certificate (Class 12 mark sheet too, if you have passed it)
Recent passport-size photograph and a photo of your signature
OBC, SC, ST or PwD certificate, if applicable
Ex-serviceman certificate, or a trade-experience certificate, if applicable

The 2026-27 brochure listed trades in 11 Government ITIs: Govt ITI Imphal (Takyel), Women ITI Imphal, Phaknung, Ningthoukhong, Kakching, Chandel, Ukhrul, Senapati, Saikot, Tamenglong and Sekmai. Seat numbers are not printed in the brochure.

Is there an age limit for Manipur ITI admission?

Yes. For 2026-27 the brochure allowed candidates aged 14 to 40 years as on 1 July 2026. Check the 2027 brochure for the new reference date.

Can I register without an Aadhaar-linked mobile number?

No. The portal asks for your Aadhaar number and an OTP sent to the mobile number linked with that Aadhaar, so update your Aadhaar mobile number before registration opens.

What happens if I do not take admission by the last date?

Your selection is cancelled and the seat is offered to the next eligible candidate on the ITI’s waiting list, in order of merit.

Is there a women’s ITI in Manipur?

Yes. Women ITI Imphal offered COPA, Cosmetology, Fruits and Vegetables Processing, Surface Ornamentation Technique, Secretarial Practice and Dress Making in 2026-27.

When do classes start after Manipur ITI admission?

In 2026 regular classes began on 1 September 2026, about four weeks after the main admission window closed. The 2027-28 start date will be in the 2027 notices.
