What is in the MH B.Sc Nursing CET 2027 syllabus?
The syllabus is set by the Indian Nursing Council, and the State CET Cell brochure states that questions come from the latest whole Class 12 syllabus of the Maharashtra State Board in four subjects, plus a Nursing Aptitude section.
| Section | Based on | Questions |
|---|---|---|
| Physics | Whole Class 12 Physics, Maharashtra State Board | 20 |

Class 11 topics are not listed separately in the brochure, so build your preparation around the Class 12 Maharashtra Board textbooks.
What is asked in Physics, Chemistry and Biology?
These three sections follow the full Class 12 Maharashtra State Board textbooks, chapter by chapter. The brochure says the questions are mainly application based, so practise using concepts and formulas rather than only memorising definitions.
- Physics: every chapter of the Class 12 Physics textbook, with numericals.
- Chemistry: physical, inorganic and organic chapters of the Class 12 Chemistry textbook.
- Biology: Botany and Zoology chapters of the Class 12 Biology textbook. Biology carries the same 20 marks as the other sections.
What is in the English and Nursing Aptitude sections?
English is based on the Class 12 Maharashtra Board English syllabus, so revise grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension. Nursing Aptitude is a separate 20-mark section that tests your suitability for the nursing profession; the brochure does not give a topic list for it.
What is the MH B.Sc Nursing CET 2027 marking scheme?
Each of the 100 single-best-answer MCQs has four options and carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking. The paper runs for 90 minutes in English only, and the result is a normalised percentile, not raw marks.
