Mizoram ITI Admission 2027 is the online admission to Craftsmen Training Scheme trades at the three Government ITIs in Aizawl, Lunglei and Siaha, run by the LESDE Department of Mizoram. There is no regular entrance exam: candidates are selected through counselling. The 2027 form is expected to open in June 2027 on itimizoram.in.

Is there an entrance exam for Mizoram ITI admission 2027?
No, not as a rule. LESDE selects candidates for the Government ITIs through counselling. A written screening test is held only when a trade receives more applications than it has seats, and its schedule is fixed after the application window closes.

The 2027 schedule has not been announced yet. The prospectus says the form opens in June and closes in July or August every year; in 2026 the last date was 24 July 2026.

How to Apply for Mizoram ITI Admission 2027
You apply online only, on the Government ITIs portal itimizoram.in, once the 2027 form opens. The department announces the form in local newspapers, on the website and on social media.
Apply Online for Mizoram ITI 2027
Applications for Mizoram ITI 2027 are expected in June 2027.
- Open itimizoram.in and choose Register.
- Create an account with your name, e-mail address and a password. Use an e-mail ID you check often, because the counselling schedule may be sent to it.
- Log in with your e-mail address and password.
- Fill in the online application for the 2027 session and pick the trade you want. Check that your details match your Class 8 or Class 10 documents.
- Submit the form before the last date and keep a copy for counselling.
- Watch the website, your e-mail and your phone for the counselling and screening test schedule.

The portal does not state a separate application fee. The prospectus breaks the institute charges down to Rs 2,800 for the first year (including Rs 500 caution money) and Rs 1,650 for the second year, so pay the amount the ITI confirms at admission. Who can apply for Mizoram ITI admission 2027?
You need to have passed Class 8 or Class 10, depending on the trade. Most engineering and computer trades ask for Class 10, while a few skill trades accept Class 8.

Mizoram has three Government ITIs, all run by LESDE: ITI Aizawl (the oldest and largest, set up in 1964), ITI Lunglei and ITI Siaha. These are the trades and seats listed in the latest prospectus.

The prospectus notes that Drone Technology, Data Entry Operator, Driver cum Mechanic and Solar Technician were yet to be finalised, so check the trade list on the portal when the 2027 form opens.
How are candidates selected for Mizoram ITIs?
Selection is by counselling. The ITI fixes the counselling dates, and a written screening test if one is needed, according to the number of applications in each trade, and tells applicants through the website, e-mail, phone or message.

Reserved seats that stay unfilled can go to general candidates. There is no statewide 1st, 2nd or 3rd merit list; when a screening test is held, the ITI publishes its written result, as Government ITI Aizawl did in 2025.
What happens after you join a Mizoram ITI?
Hostel places are available only at ITI Aizawl, which runs a boys’ and a girls’ hostel. Selected trainees apply for the hostel offline at the Principal’s office on a date the ITI announces.
At the end of training you take the All India Trade Test (AITT) of the Directorate General of Training, with a computer-based theory paper and a practical exam, usually in July or August. You need 80% attendance in theory and practical classes to appear. Passing gives you the National Trade Certificate (NTC).
