Is MP ANMTST 2027 being held?

No ANMTST is expected for 2027. A Gazette notification of 11 May 2026 amended the Madhya Pradesh Nursing Educational Institutions Admission Rules, 2024, so that the only nursing entrance examination is the Pre-Nursing Selection Test (PNST), conducted by MPESB for B.Sc Nursing. ANM seats are now filled on a merit list of Class 12 percentage.

In 2026 no ANMTST was conducted. MPNRC ran the MP State ANM Nursing Counselling 2026 on the DME MPOnline portal, from registration on 25 and 26 August to the final round allotment on 19 September 2026. Unless the rules change again, 2027-28 admission is expected to follow the same route.

Who can apply for MP ANM admission 2027?

You can apply if you meet these conditions in Schedule I of the admission rules, as amended on 11 May 2026:

You have passed Class 12.
You are a female candidate; ANM admission is given only to women.
You are at least 17 years old on or before 31 December of the admission year.
Candidates from a state-recognised State Open School or from NIOS are also eligible.

The amended rules list no minimum Class 12 percentage for ANM. Seats still go strictly by percentage, so the 2026 cut off further down this page matters more than the eligibility line.

How is the MP ANM 2027 merit list prepared?

Your rank comes only from your Class 12 percentage, under Schedule IV of the amended admission rules.

Rule	Detail (Gazette, 11 May 2026)
Merit basis	Percentage of marks in Class 12
First tie-break	The older candidate is ranked higher
Second tie-break	Order of name in the Hindi alphabet

The merit list is a PDF on the portal. There is no individual scorecard; the 2026 list showed these details for each candidate.

How does MP ANM seat allotment work?

Seats are allotted in rounds by a computer match of your rank and your locked choices. In 2026 there were two rounds: Round 1 allotment on 5 September and the final round on 19 September 2026.

Before the final round, candidates who already held a seat could opt for an upgrade against vacancies.
The institution’s admission committee checks your documents and issues the admission order online; you then pay the fee at that institution.
If seats are still vacant after the last round, the rules allow one more round with fresh registration. Candidates allotted a seat in any earlier round cannot take part in it.

Where can you find old MP ANMTST question papers?

MPESB has published past ANMTST papers on its website. The 2024 and 2025 papers had 100 questions, 20 each in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General English and General Knowledge. They are not needed for merit-based ANM admission, but they are good practice for the MP PNST, which tests the same five subjects.

Year	Paper	Download
2025	Question book, 18 June 2025 (2 shifts)	Open PDF
2024	Question book with answers, 2 to 6 September 2024 (10 shifts)	Open PDF
2016	23 January 2016 (3 shifts, with answers)	9 AM · 12 noon · 3 PM
2016	24 January 2016 (3 shifts, with answers)	9 AM · 12 noon · 3 PM
2016	25 January 2016 (3 shifts, with answers)	9 AM · 12 noon · 3 PM

The January 2016 papers are printed as ANM Training Selection Test 2016 by the Professional Examination Board, the earlier name of MPESB. The MPESB site files them under 2015.

MP ANMTST 2027 FAQs

Who conducted MP ANMTST?

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal, earlier known as MP Vyapam or the Professional Examination Board. Its last ANMTST was held on 18 June 2025. ANM admission is now handled by MPNRC counselling.

Can male candidates apply for ANM in Madhya Pradesh?

No. The admission rules as amended on 11 May 2026 say ANM admission is given only to female candidates.

Is ANMTST the same as MP PNST?

No. PNST is the Pre-Nursing Selection Test for B.Sc Nursing, and MPESB still conducts it. Under the 2026 rules it is the only nursing entrance test in Madhya Pradesh; ANM and GNM seats go on Class 12 merit.

Can NIOS or State Open School students apply for ANM?

Yes. The amended rules make candidates from a state-recognised State Open School and from NIOS eligible, provided they have passed Class 12.

What if two candidates have the same Class 12 percentage?

The older candidate is ranked higher. If the date of birth is also the same, the name that comes first in Hindi alphabetical order is ranked higher.

Will ANMTST come back in 2027?

Nothing has been announced. The rules notified in May 2026 have no ANM entrance test, so a test would need a new notification. Check the MPNRC counselling portal and esb.mp.gov.in for any change.
