The MP PVFT 2026 admission process for B.V.Sc & A.H. and B.F.Sc programmes in Madhya Pradesh is conducted by the Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University (NDVSU), Jabalpur, at the official counselling portal ndvsu.mponline.gov.in. The standalone MP PVFT entrance test conducted earlier by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) is no longer conducted; in line with the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education Regulations 2016, admission to all B.V.Sc & A.H. seats across India is now based on NEET UG. The 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats are filled through VCI counselling using NEET UG ranks, while NDVSU conducts state-level counselling for the remaining seats. Find the complete details of the MP PVFT 2026 admission process on this page including dates, eligibility, NEET UG requirements, counselling steps, and seat allotment for veterinary and fishery admission in Madhya Pradesh.

Latest: – The standalone MP PVFT entrance exam by MPESB has been discontinued. MP PVFT 2026 admission to B.V.Sc & A.H. and B.F.Sc programmes is now based on NEET UG 2026 scores, with counselling by NDVSU at ndvsu.mponline.gov.in and VCI for the 15% All India Quota.

MP PVFT 2026

What is MP PVFT 2026?

MP PVFT stands for the Madhya Pradesh Pre Veterinary and Fisheries Test. Until 2023 it was a state-level entrance test conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB, formerly MP Vyapam / MP PEB) for admission to undergraduate veterinary and fisheries science programmes in the state. From the 2024-25 cycle onwards, the standalone MP PVFT entrance exam has been discontinued. As per the Veterinary Council of India regulations, admission to the 5.5-year B.V.Sc & A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) programme across India is now done on the basis of NEET UG scores. The Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University (NDVSU), Jabalpur, conducts the MP PVFT 2026 counselling for state-quota seats using NEET UG ranks, while the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) fills the 15% All India Quota seats through its central counselling. The 4-year B.F.Sc (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) programme at NDVSU is also admitted through the same NDVSU counselling round.

No Standalone Entrance Exam – What Has Changed

The MP PVFT entrance test conducted earlier by MPESB (last cycle in 2023) is no longer part of the 2026 admission process. As per the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education Regulations 2016, B.V.Sc & A.H. admission across India must be done on the basis of NEET UG scores. The MPESB 2024 and 2026 exam calendars do not list PV&FT, confirming this transition. The following components of the old MP PVFT no longer apply to the 2026 admission cycle:

  • No state-level MP PVFT written test or CBT is conducted in 2026.
  • No MP PVFT 2026 admit card or hall ticket is issued by MPESB.
  • No MPESB MP PVFT answer key or response sheet is released.
  • No MPESB scorecard or rank from a state PVFT exam is generated.
  • NEET UG 2026 conducted by NTA serves as the qualifying / merit examination.

Pages on aglasem.com referring to the MP PVFT syllabus, admit card, answer key, response sheet, and result are retained as historical references for past cycles up to 2023. For the current 2026 admission, candidates only need a valid NEET UG 2026 scorecard plus registration in the NDVSU and VCI counselling rounds.

Selection Process – NEET UG-Based

The MP PVFT 2026 selection process is layered on top of NEET UG 2026 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The broad flow is:

  1. Appear in NEET UG 2026 conducted by NTA at neet.nta.nic.in – apply, attend the exam, and secure a qualifying NEET UG rank.
  2. 15% All India Quota: Register with VCI for the AIQ counselling using your NEET UG 2026 application number, roll number, and qualifying score.
  3. 85% State Quota: Register with NDVSU at ndvsu.mponline.gov.in for state-quota counselling, with valid MP domicile.
  4. Document verification at the respective counselling portals.
  5. Choice filling – list NDVSU constituent colleges (Jabalpur, Mhow, Rewa) and programme preferences.
  6. Seat allotment based on NEET UG rank, category, choices, and seat availability.
  7. Seat acceptance, fee payment, and reporting at the allotted institute within the deadline.
  8. Subsequent rounds / mop-up for vacant seats at the institute level.
