AIAPGET 2026 Important Dates
The AIAPGET 2026 exam, answer key and result are over; only counselling is left, and its schedule is not out yet. AIAPGET 2027 dates are not announced. In 2026 the bulletin came on 10 July for an exam on 22 August.

How to Apply for AIAPGET 2026
You apply online only, on exams.nta.nic.in/aiapget. The AIAPGET 2026 form was open from 10 to 30 July 2026 (till 9 PM; fee till 11:59 PM) and is now closed. The 2027 form will open with the next NTA information bulletin, which is not announced yet.

The AIAPGET 2026 application window (10 to 30 July 2026) has closed.
- Read the information bulletin and check the eligibility and internship cut-off date.
- Register on the AIAPGET portal with your own mobile number and email ID. Create a password and a security question, and note your application number.
- Log in and fill in your personal and educational details, choose your subject (Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha or Unani) and four exam cities.
- Capture a live photo and upload your photograph, signature and, if needed, PwBD certificate in the given format.
- Pay the fee online by debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.
- Download the confirmation page and keep it with the fee receipt.

Bank charges and GST are extra, and the fee is not refunded or carried forward. A one-time correction window ran on 1 and 2 August 2026. Only one form is allowed per candidate.
Who can apply for AIAPGET 2026?
You can apply if you are an Indian citizen with a recognised BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS or Graded BHMS degree (or provisional pass certificate), registration, and your internship done by the cut-off date. These are the AIAPGET 2026 rules from the NTA bulletin.
- Degree recognised under the IMCC Act 1970, HCC Act 1973, NCISM Act 2020 or NCH Act 2020.
- Permanent or provisional registration issued by the erstwhile CCIM or CCH, NCISM, NCH or a State/UT board.
- One year of compulsory rotatory internship completed, or to be completed, by 31 October 2026. The bulletin said 31 August 2026; NTA extended it on 22 July 2026.
- No upper age limit.
- You must submit the original internship completion certificate at counselling.
- Some universities do not admit candidates who are already doing a PG course; check with the university.
What is the AIAPGET 2026 exam pattern?
AIAPGET is one 2-hour computer-based paper of 120 multiple-choice questions for 480 marks, set separately for each subject. Ayurveda was held from 10 AM to 12 noon on 22 August 2026, and Homoeopathy, Siddha and Unani from 3 to 5 PM.

What happens after the AIAPGET 2026 result?
Admission is through counselling, which NTA does not run. AACCC counsels the All India quota seats, and each state or UT counsels its own state quota seats, using your AIAPGET 2026 merit.
- AACCC (All India quota): seats in government and government-aided colleges, national institutes, central universities and deemed universities. Watch the AACCC PG counselling schedule; it was empty on 14 October 2026.
- State or UT quota: seats filled by the state counselling authority under its domicile and reservation rules.
- AIAPGET 2026 scores are valid only for admission in the 2026-27 session.
