The AIAPGET 2026 syllabus is the graduate-level (BAMS, BHMS, BSMS or BUMS) curriculum of the subject you take, as set by NCISM and NCH regulations. NTA gives no separate topic list, so the main subjects of each degree below are what the paper covers. Each subject has its own 120-question paper.

The Ayurveda paper follows the BAMS curriculum of NCISM. Its main subjects are:
- Padartha Vigyan and history of Ayurveda; Sanskrit
- Kriya Sharir (physiology) and Rachana Sharir (anatomy)
- Dravyaguna Vigyan (pharmacology and materia medica)
- Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana (pharmaceutics)
- Roga Nidan and Vikriti Vigyan (pathology and diagnosis)
- Agad Tantra (toxicology and forensic medicine)
- Swasthavritta and Yoga (community health)
- Charak Samhita and other classical texts

The Homoeopathy paper follows the BHMS curriculum of NCH and is set in English only. Its main subjects are:

The Siddha paper follows the BSMS curriculum of NCISM and is set in Tamil and English. Its main subjects are:

- Gunapadam (Siddha materia medica: herbal, mineral and animal drugs)
- Noi Naadal (pathology and diagnosis)

What is the AIAPGET syllabus for Unani?
The Unani paper follows the BUMS curriculum of NCISM and is set in Urdu and English. Its main subjects are:
- Kulliyat-e-Tib (basic principles of Unani medicine)
- Tashreeh-ul-Badan (anatomy) and Munafe-ul-Aza (physiology)
- Ilmul Advia (pharmacology) and Ilmul Saidla (pharmacy)
- Mahiyatul Amraz (pathology)
- Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib (preventive and social medicine)
- Moalajat (medicine), Ilaj-bit-Tadbeer (regimental therapy) and Amraz-e-Jild wa Tazeeniyat (dermatology)

What is the AIAPGET 2026 exam pattern and marking scheme?
Every subject has one 2-hour CBT paper of 120 questions for 480 marks, with 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer.

If a question has a translation problem, the English version is final. If more than one option is found correct after the answer key challenge, only candidates who chose a correct option get the marks.
Where is the official AIAPGET syllabus?
NTA does not publish a separate topic-wise syllabus. The 2026 bulletin says the syllabus is the graduate-level education regulations of each discipline, which are on the NCISM and NCH websites. The bulletin is listed below.

How should you prepare for AIAPGET?
- Revise your own degree subjects year by year, starting with the clinical subjects and materia medica.
- Read the classical texts of your system, since many questions quote them directly.
- Practise with the AIAPGET previous year question papers of your subject under a 2-hour time limit.
- With 1 minute per question and -1 for a wrong answer, skip questions you cannot narrow down.
