How do Float and Freeze work in Arunachal Pradesh NEET counselling?

After a Round 1 allotment you log in, pay the security deposit and choose Float or Freeze; if you do neither, the seat is cancelled and you miss Round 2.

  • Freeze: you accept the seat and report to the Directorate for your nomination letter.

  • Round 2 has only the Freeze option. An upgraded seat cancels your Round 1 seat; otherwise you keep it.

  • Stray rounds: in 2026, seats still vacant were allotted on 21 September, 28 September and 12 October through separate circulars.

What happens after you get a seat?

You collect a nomination letter in person and then report to the college. Medical, dental, AYUSH, nursing, pharmacy and paramedical candidates report to the Directorate of Medical Education, A Sector, Naharlagun; agriculture and veterinary candidates go to the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, ESS Sector, Itanagar.
