NEET Counselling 2020 – Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) and AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee will release the notification for NEET 2020 counseling on their official website mcc.nic.in and aaccc.gov.in. Under 15% All India Quota, a list of successful candidates shall be sent to the Medical Examination cell for allotment of seats by Online Counselling. For other than 15% All India Quota, on the basis of All India Merit List and Cutoff, admitting/counseling authorities will prepare a merit list for the admission and counseling process. MCC will release the information about NEET Counselling for MBBS and BDS courses to 15% All India Quota, Central Institutions including AIIMS, JIPMER, AFMC, ESIC, Delhi University (DU), BHU & AMU and Deemed Universities on its official website. NEET 2020 Counselling Procedure
Medical Counselling Committee conducts counseling of NEET-UG under the DGHS, as there is no role of NTA in it. NTA only prepares the Merit list and forward it to the MCC. MCC/DGHS will do Counselling for 15% All India Quata, Deemed Universities, Central Universities (Delhi University, AMU & BHU including Institutional/ Domicile Quota), ESIC & AFMS & seats of VMMC & SJH seats.
After the declaration of the result, the online counseling process will start. It will be done in 3 rounds, in which the last one will be for vacant seats after 1 and 2 round. To participate in the online counseling process, first qualified candidates have to register and have to fill the online choices for college and course.
NEET 2020 Choice Filling
For applying candidates will have to first register on the official website of MCC and provide the details the same as provided in the application form of NEET. Once the registration is done, a password is generated for NEET-UG 2020 Counselling login. Remember your password till the end of the All India Quota admission process, otherwise, you will not be able to participate in the counseling/admission process.
After that, they have to pay the required fee for the counseling process. After the registration, candidates have to fill the choices to lock the choices of the college and courses. Candidates can give as many choices as they want to give and then take out the print out of your choices and keep it them till the admission process. On the basis of the choices and merit list, MCC will allot the seats.

Mode of Payment –
Candidates can do online payment by Net Banking/ credit card/ debit card only after making the payment as per choice. Only after the successful payment candidate proceed for choice filling.
NEET 2020 Seat Allotment
After the registration and choice filling, MCC will release the result for seat allotment. On the basis of the merit list (rank and score in NEET 2020) and seat availability as per the choices of preferences of the candidates, MMC will allot the seats to them. Candidates can check the result of seat allotment from the candidate login. Selected candidates will also receive the counseling letter in their login. According to the provisional allotment letter they will have to report at the date, time and college mentioned on it. Candidates will have to reach the center along with documents required to verification and the admission fee.
NEET Counselling 2020 Second Round
Candidates who will not be selected in the first round of counseling or are not satisfied with the seat allotted to them can apply for 2nd round of counseling. As they are not required to register or pay the counseling fee again they can apply with their old login ID. New candidates applying for the 2nd round, will have to register and pay the counseling fee the same as round one.
NEET 2020 Counselling Letter
Candidates who will be allotted seats in the online counseling process can download the counseling letter. Candidates need to log in with the User Id and password created at the time of registration of the counseling process. A counseling letter will carry the college/institution allotted to the candidate at the time seat allotment. Candidates are required to report at the center allotted to the candidates on the date and time mentioned in the letter. They also have to carry the hard copy of the counseling letter along with other documents.
Documents Required at the Time Of Document Verification
Candidates have to carry the mentioned below documents for the verification process. In case if a candidate found ineligible at the time of verification, he/she will not be granted admission under any circumstances. The list of documents to be carried at the time of verification:
- Admit Card of Exam issued by NTA.
- Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
- Date of Birth Certificate (if Metric Certificate does not bear the same)
- Class 10th Certificate
- Class 10+2 Certificate
- Marks Sheet of Class 10+2
- Eight (8) Passportsize photograph
- Provisional allotment letter generated on-line.
- Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving Licence/ Passport)
National Testing Agency holds NEET in offline mode and across various test centers across the nation. From 2020, NEET remains the only UG medical entrance exam. AIIMS and JIPMER, from now on, shall admit students based on NEET scores only. Cracking the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) allows the candidates to take admission in 15% All India Quota seats via MCC counselling. The rest of the seats is offred vua state counselling and are distributed among the states. For 15% All India seats the candidates who score up to 50 percentile in general category are selected.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is an examination conducting body, established by the Ministry of Human Resource and Department, Government of India. NTA is conducts NEET-UG every year in online mode. Rather than NEET-UG, NTA conducts the various national level exam like Joint Entrance Exam (JEE- Main), NEET-UG, NET etc. Its objective is to conduct efficient, transparent and international standards tests for admissions.
