Why the May 3 NEET Answer Key 2026 Won’t Be Released

According to NTA’s official press release of May 12, 2026, the May 3 NEET UG 2026 exam has been cancelled after central agencies and law enforcement authorities indicated that the examination process was compromised. The matter was first referred to central agencies on May 8, 2026, and the Government of India subsequently ordered a CBI probe into the alleged paper leak. Since the cancelled paper will not be evaluated, NTA will not release the provisional or final answer key or OMR response sheets for the May 3 exam. The Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG) had earlier flagged a circulating "guess paper" that reportedly matched a significant number of questions in the actual paper, leading to detentions in multiple states.
