The candidates must take care of a few things before they start to fill out the NEET 2020 application form. The same is mentioned in the points below:

Documents to be kept ready: The candidates have to keep the following documents ready for reference. The identity details for the categories are as follows:

How To Fill The NEET 2020 Application Form

1st step: Register

The candidates have to start with registering for the exam. To do so the candidates have to fill in the following details:

  • Your name

Click on the “preview and next” button on completing the details. The candidates then have to create a Password, and choose a security question and give an appropriate answer for it. Also, you have to enter the OTP sent to you at the registered Mobile Number.

2nd Step: Login

Next, the candidates have to log in using the application number and the password.

4th step: Upload scanned photo and signature

  • After the students have entered all the necessary information in the NEET Application Form, the next step is to upload images in the form.NEET Form 2020
  • The images to be uploaded in the form must be as per the specification.
  • The candidates should note that the photograph and signature uploaded by them in the Application Form should be correct as the same is used in the Admit Card of NEET 2020 as well.

5th step: pay the application form

In the next step, the candidates have to pay the application fee using the preferred mode of payment. The candidates can use online mode of payment or can pay via cash using the e-challan facility.

6th step: Print the confirmation page

Next, the candidates have to take the print of the confirmation page. The confirmation page is generated when the candidate’s fee payment is received by NTA. This generation of the confirmation page ensures that the application form is submitted and the candidates are eligible for downloading the NEET 2020 admit card.

NEET 2020  Application Form Correction

The candidates also get the chance to make any correction in their NEET 2020 application form. However, note that the candidates cannot change all the details in the form. To make changes in the application form, the candidates have to log in using their application number and password and thereafter they can edit the fields in their application form.

The application form correction process is a one time opportunity. Once the candidates make the correction and submit the same they cannot request any more changes. The corrections are to be done in one seating only.

NTA upload the status of their application form under the candidates’ logins. To check the status the candidates have to log in using their application number and date of birth.

They can check the fee payment status then. If the fee payment status is successful that means the application form of NEET 2020 is submitted, if the fee payment status is pending that means the application form is yet not submitted.

Q: Can a candidate change its center city after allotment of roll number?
A: No. The candidates cannot change their exam center once it has been allotted under any condition.

Q: Can NTA fix the examination center in any city other than the four options exercised by the candidates?
A: Yes. NTA reserves its discretion to fix the center in the city other than the one exercised by the candidate.

Q: Can a candidate of Karnataka opt for Delhi as a center with Kannada medium?
A: No. Kannada medium is available only in the Centres/ cities located in the State of Karnataka.

Q: Can I change the option of language once the form is submitted?
A: Once the candidates have submitted their option, they cannot change it. As centers are allotted based on the medium of question paper, candidates need to be very careful in choosing the medium of the question paper.

NEET 2020 Eligibility

The candidates must know whether or not they are eligible to apply for NEET 2020. Thereafter they may proceed to fill the application form. The eligibility criteria of NEET 2020 is as follows:

  • Nationality: Indian citizens, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs and foreign nationals are eligible to appear for NEET 2020
  • Age Limit Criteria: The students must not be less than 17 years of age as on December 31. Thus he/she should be born on or before December 31, 2003. The upper age limit is 25 years (relaxation of 05 years is available for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD candidates.
  • Academic Qualification: Must have passed Class 12th or its equivalent examination from any recognized board like CBSE, ICSE, etc.
  • Subject Combination: The Candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English
  • Marks Required in the Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in aggregate.
  • Studied Biology/ Biotechnology as an additional subject: Yes, such candidates are also eligible for NEET 2020
  • Open School/ NIOS/ Private Candidate: Such candidates are eligible for NEET 2020

NEET 2020 Admit Card

The candidates who complete the application process before the last date and make corrections in their application form in the given window are eligible to download their NEET admit card. The candidates have to download the admit card under the candidate’s login using their application number and date of birth/password.

The NEET 2020 Admit card has the allotted exam center, time and date. The candidates have to appear for the exam as per the details on the admit card. No candidates are allowed inside the exam center without the admit card in a printed format.
