National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) is held for admission to MBBS / BDS undergraduate level courses. NEET UG will be conducted as per the guidelines released by the NTA, it will be an offline pen and paper based test. NEET is held for All India Quota seats (15%) in all Medical / Dental colleges in India under Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India with the approval from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (UoMHFW), Government of India (GOI). There are institutions like AIIMS and JIPMER which are exceptions and doesn’t accept NEET UG as their entrance exam. About NEET UG Exam

In India, NEET UG is the largest medical entrance exam for MBBS / BDS admission into medical and dental colleges which will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The colleges do not conduct their own medical entrance exam. Thus, all colleges accept students based on NEET UG Score (except AIIMS & JIPMER). There will be 8 different sittings for the exam, and interested candidates need to choose any one from them for the NEET exams. The total number of seats offered is 53,430.

MHRD announced that NEET 2019 will be conducted by NTA, twice a year, in computer-based test mode. Exam dates were announced. NEET UG 2019 (February) exam dates are supposed to be 03-17 Feb; NEET UG 2019 (May) exam dates are supposed to be 12-26 May. Syllabus shall remain same. Admission will be on basis of best score out of Feb and May NTA NEET exam 2019.

    i secured 199 in neet 2018.i am obc class. My percentile is 71.3.my all india rank is 363191.i am from tamilnadu. will i get seat in all india quoata.please give me guidence

    • dear, the cutoff and rank list fro NEET 2018 hasn’t been released till now. It’ll be releasing soon. So as of now i can give you an idea on the basis of previous year cutoff. since you are from tamil nadu you can get a seat from state quota as for all india seats the ranking for previous tear OBS candidates were good. So you do one thing do attend the counselling because the motive for sitting in counseling it to understand clearly the concept of seat and ranking procedure. So it’ll definitely going to help you.

    I wrongly sellect in 1st round, and join BDS at Manipal, now i like join inter change BDS to MBBS above said same college or in Tamilnadu MBBS seat where vacant colleges, please give sugges/ how can I join 2 nd round AIQ council / please help choice upgradation.

  4. Sir,I got 314 marks belongs to general category from andhra. Is there any chance to get Bams seat with this marks? Is15% all India quota is there for ayush courses??if all India quota is not there then how can we apply for other states ?is other state quota is there??plz reply me soon sir….
