The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) has replaced All India Pre Medical / Dental Test (AIPMT). It is a yearly medical entrance exam in India. The exam is organized by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission in medical and dental colleges to 95000 MBBS and BDS seats.

CBSE also holds NEET exam for PG programs which is known as NEET PG. Information on this page is on CBSE NEET UG 2017.
It was initially proposed that NEET be held from 2012 onwards. For one reason and another, MCI deferred NEET by one year. For the first time CBSE held NEET in the year 2013 on May 5. Soon after that in the month of July in year 2013, Supreme Court passed orders in favour of 115 petitions and cancelled NEET, also saying that MCI must not interfere in college admission.
When MCI had announced that NEET will be held in 2012, states including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Gujarat, Karnataka had opposed saying that syllabus would differ from state board syllabus. In year 2016 NEET was held after conduct of AIPMT as NEET 2. In 2017, NEET exam was held in different regional languages. CBSE NEET UG was restored in 2016 after a five judge constitution bench recalled earlier verdict.
CBSE NEET UG 2017
Information of CBSE NEET UG 2017 was released on January 31, 2017. Online application form was also from same date at cbseneet.nic.in. Last date to apply was given as March 1, 2017. An age limit was imposed of 25 years, which was later removed. Window to apply was re-opened for candidates above 25 years to apply before April 5, 2017. Admit card was released on April 22, 2017. CBSE undertook a number of measures for the purpose of having smooth conduct of exam on May 7, 2017. Present percentage of students was 95%.

Question Paper of NEET 2017
There are 12 sets of CBSE NEET UG 2017 question papers. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2017 is a pen and paper based exam. Question papers are provided to test takers at exam center which they can take home after exam. Exam conducting body sets question paper on same lines as given in scheme of examination in information brochure of NEET 2017. There are questions on physics, chemistry, biology.
Candidates are asked to select question paper language at time of registration.
Answer Key of NEET 2017
Official CBSE NEET UG 2017 Answer Key contains answers to questions asked in Set A, B, C, D, P, Q, R, S, W, X, Y, Z.
Final keys are compiled once CBSE receives objections from candidates to provisional answer key. Evaluation of papers is by looking at answers in final version.

- Select or mention answers you think are incorrect.
- Follow instructions given for submitting challenges.
- Pay Rs 1000 per answer challenged.
- Refund of Rs 1000 happens if board accepts challenge.
Application Form of NEET 2017
The first thing you must do once after getting to know about NEET is to apply. Read information brochure and understand eligibility criteria. Candidates above 25 years of age can apply for NEET 2017. If you are eligible, then you can fill and submit application form. After registration, you will get a registration number which must be noted down as you will require it for login.
Steps to apply
- Register by entering name, contact details, date of birth, gender, state of eligibility.
- Next you will get registration number with which you will login.
- Login and upload photograph and signature. Adhere to specifications given.
- Pay application fee. General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs 1400. SC, ST, PH candidates will pay Rs 750.
- Check that details in form are correct and submit it.
Application form correction
- Within a certain timeline you can make corrections in application form of NEET 2017.
- Login with registration number and date of birth.
- Edit field that needs correction.
- If there is any additional fee applicable then that can be paid in mode prescribed.
Admit Card of NEET 2017
To appear in exam, you need to have this document called admit card. Admit card of NEET 2017 is the same as hall ticket, which can be obtained online only. If you have applied for CBSE NEET UG 2017 before the last date then you get the hall ticket at cbseneet.nic.in. What you must have to download it are registration number, and date of birth.
