How is the Nagaland Polytechnic 2027 merit list prepared?

Your position depends only on your HSLC marks and the preferences you list. In the 2026-27 merit list, applicants for engineering, Architecture Assistantship and Interior Design were ranked by the average of their HSLC Mathematics and Science marks, while Fashion Technology applicants were ranked by their aggregate HSLC percentage.

DTE then declares the selected candidates for each programme and polytechnic from this merit and your order of preferences. A higher position gives you a better chance of your first choice, so list only the courses you are willing to join.
