- Go to scert.samsodisha.gov.in when the merit list date arrives.
- Click State-wide Merit List to see the list for your quota, or Know your Selection Status to check your own selection.
- Use the Score Card link on the portal to see your CBT marks.
- Log in to your student account and download the intimation letter if you are selected.
- Note the date to report to your allotted institution.
You also get an SMS, email or WhatsApp message on the number and email you gave in the form.
What details are printed on the Odisha D.El.Ed 2027 score card?
The score card shows your CBT marks; you download it from the Score Card link on the SAMS portal using your roll number and date of birth.
How is the Odisha D.El.Ed merit list prepared?
The merit list is based only on CBT marks, using normalised scores when the test is held in several shifts. Lists are made by quota, social category and stream, because seats are split 50:50 between Arts/Commerce and Science candidates.
If two candidates have the same marks, the one with the higher +2 percentage ranks higher. If that is also equal, the older candidate comes first. A place on the list is provisional until your documents are verified at the institution.

Science seats closed higher than Arts/Commerce seats in every category except ST. Closing marks for PH, ex-servicemen, sports and OOT seats, and for the other quotas, are on the Cut off Marks page of the portal.
What happens after the Odisha D.El.Ed result?
- Download the intimation letter from your student login. It lists the documents you need.
- Report to the allotted institution on the given dates with your CAF printout, intimation letter, original mark sheets and certificates, residential certificate, caste certificate (if any), CLC, conduct certificate and two photos.
- Pay the admission fee of Rs 2,800 in cash (Rs 18,512 at Thompson Women’s Training School, Cuttack), plus hostel fees if you take a hostel seat.
- PwD candidates are first checked by a medical board, and Santali quota candidates take a reading and writing test.
- If you took admission and a higher choice falls vacant, auto slide-up can move you there in later rounds. If you do not take the new seat, it is forfeited.
Several rounds follow the first list. In 2026 classes began on 11 September, and later rounds are scheduled until 24 October 2026.
