What is the PRSU CET 2027 syllabus?
The syllabus is the five sections set out in the PRSU CET bulletin. The topics in the second column are our guide to what these sections usually test; PRSU does not publish them.

Which subject do you take in the Subject Specific section?
Your choice depends on the programme. PRSU’s rules for the Subject Specific section are:
- M.Sc (Ag), B.Sc (Ag) Honours and B.Pharm: Mathematics or Biology.
- MCA, BCA and Integrated M.Tech AI & Data Science: Mathematics only. Candidates who do not opt for Mathematics are not considered for these programmes.
The bulletin does not name a separate subject for MBA, LLM, BBA or BA-LLB, so check the subject choice offered on the form when you apply.
What is the PRSU CET 2027 exam pattern and marking?
PRSU CET is an offline test of 100 multiple-choice questions to be done in 2 hours. Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking, so attempt every question.

Is there an official PRSU CET syllabus PDF?
No separate syllabus PDF is published. The section list and subject rules are in the CET information bulletin, listed below; the 2027 bulletin is expected in May 2027.

How should you prepare for PRSU CET 2027?
Four of the five sections are general aptitude, so steady practice matters more than heavy theory.
- Revise Class 10 level arithmetic and practise timed sets of aptitude questions every day.
- Read a newspaper daily and keep short notes on current affairs from the last 6 to 8 months.
- Practise reading comprehension and grammar questions from any standard objective English book.
- Solve data interpretation sets on tables, bar charts and pie charts, plus common reasoning puzzles.
- For the Subject Specific section, revise NCERT Mathematics or Biology (UG) or your graduation subject basics (PG).
- Take full 100-question mock tests in 2 hours so you can finish every section.
Once you are ready, keep an eye on the PRSU CET admit card release, which came two days before the test in 2026.
