Punjab B.Ed 2027 is the state Common Entrance Test for B.Ed General and B.Ed Special Education seats in colleges of education in Punjab affiliated to Panjab University, Punjabi University and GNDU. The 2027 schedule is not out yet, so the table shows expected months. In 2026 the form opened on 20 June and the test was held on 2 August 2026, so the 2027 test is expected in August 2027.

How to Apply for Punjab B.Ed 2027
You apply online on the Joint B.Ed. Admissions (Punjab) portal of the coordinating university. Every candidate must register there, including those who want a management quota seat. The steps and fees below follow the 2026 prospectus and may change in 2027.
Apply Online for Punjab B.Ed 2027
Applications for Punjab B.Ed 2027 are expected in June 2027.
- Open the admission portal when registration starts, expected in June 2027.
- Register to create your login ID and password. You need them for the admit card, result and counselling.
- Choose B.Ed General, B.Ed Special Education or both. One registration and one test cover both programmes.
- Fill in your personal, category and qualifying degree details. Claim only one reserved category, as it cannot be changed later.
- Give three preferences for the exam centre.
- Upload your photograph and signature and pay the fee online by net banking, credit card or debit card.
- Submit the form and keep a printout. You cannot edit the form after submission, except to update your qualifying degree marks.

The fee is non-refundable. In 2026 the late forms were accepted only at the B.Ed Cell of Punjabi University, Patiala.
How to log in to the Punjab B.Ed 2027 candidate portal?
You log in to the Joint B.Ed. Admissions (Punjab) portal to complete and track your form, download the admit card, see your result and take part in online counselling.
- Open the Candidate Login page of the Joint B.Ed. Admissions (Punjab) portal. The 2027 login will open with 2027 registration, expected in June 2027; the latest official one is the 2026 Candidate Login page.
- New candidates register first. Registration gives you the Candidate ID (CID) and password you use to log in.
- Enter your Candidate ID (CID), your password and the security code shown on the screen.
- Click Login to Portal. Your account opens with the links live at that stage: the form and fee, then the admit card, result and counselling.
Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password and enter your Candidate ID and date of birth; the password is sent by SMS to your registered mobile number. Forgot your Candidate ID? Click Forgot ID and enter your name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth to find it.
Who can apply for Punjab B.Ed 2027?
You can apply if you have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks, or a master’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks. SC, ST and BC candidates need 45%.
- A B.E. or B.Tech degree is accepted as a bachelor’s degree.
- B.Ed is subject-based. You must have studied at graduation or post-graduation level the subjects you will choose as your two teaching subjects.
- If you seek admission on the basis of a master’s degree, one teaching subject must be a subject you studied at master’s level.
- Final-year students can apply and take the test. You become eligible for counselling only after you upload your final marks.
- 85% of seats are for Punjab residents and 15% are open to candidates from other states and union territories.
What is the Punjab B.Ed 2027 exam pattern?
Punjab B.Ed CET is one offline OMR paper of 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks, with five parts of 30 marks each. The 2026 pattern is shown below and 2027 is expected to follow it.
