Is there an entrance exam for Rajasthan ANM 2027?
No. Rajasthan fills ANM seats on merit, using the percentage of marks in your Senior Secondary (Class 12) exam. You send an offline application to the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of the district, and selected candidates are called for counselling at the district headquarters.
The course is officially called the Mahila Swasthya Karyakarta (ANM) Prashikshan Pathyakram. The Directorate of Medical, Health and Family Welfare Services (DMHS), Jaipur, issues the advertisement, and each district’s CMHO receives forms and runs counselling.
Rajasthan ANM 2027 Important Dates
Rajasthan ANM 2027 (session 2027-28) dates are not announced yet. In 2026 the advertisement came on 17 August and forms were accepted from 24 August to 7 September, so the 2027 advertisement is expected around August 2027. Timing varies: the 2025-26 counselling was held only on 11 December 2025.

How to Apply for Rajasthan ANM Admission 2027
You apply offline. There is no online form: the application form is part of the full advertisement, and you send it to the CMHO of your district by post or hand it in yourself. The steps below follow the 2026-27 process; the 2027-28 advertisement will confirm them.
Apply Online for Rajasthan ANM 2027
Applications for Rajasthan ANM 2027 are expected in August 2027.
- Download the full advertisement for the session from the DMHS training courses page and read the eligibility, reservation and centre-wise seat details.
- Print the application form given in the advertisement and fill it with details exactly as in your certificates.
- Attach the documents the advertisement asks for, such as your Senior Secondary marksheet and category certificate.
- Attach a Rs 20 postal order made out in the name of the CMHO of the district. SC and ST candidates do not pay this fee.
- Send the form by registered, ordinary or speed post, or hand it in at the CMHO office, before the last date.
- Wait for the counselling call letter, which is sent by registered post to candidates in the district merit list.

Who can apply for Rajasthan ANM 2027?
You can apply if you have passed Senior Secondary (Class 12) from BSER Ajmer or an equivalent recognised board. These were the 2026-27 rules:
- Age: at least 17 and at most 34 years, counted as on 31 December 2026 for the 2026-27 session.
- SC, ST and OBC candidates get 5 years of relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Seats follow Rajasthan’s reservation rules.
- The detailed advertisement also reserves seats for anganwadi workers, widows and divorced women, candidates with disabilities and departmental Class IV women employees.
How is the Rajasthan ANM merit list made?
Each district makes its own merit list from the percentage of marks in the qualifying (Class 12) exam. Candidates up to five times the number of seats are called for counselling by registered post.
Counselling is held at the district headquarters by a committee chaired by the CMHO. For session 2026-27 it was held on 29 September 2026, following a Rajasthan High Court (Jaipur) order of 17 September 2026. Seats are allotted at counselling on merit, category and the training centre seats left.
How many ANM seats are there in Rajasthan?
For session 2026-27 the advertisement offered 1,650 seats in 34 government ANM training centres, with 45 or 60 seats in each district centre. The centre-wise seat list is printed in the full advertisement.
What is the ANM course and how is it different from GNM?
ANM (Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife) trains women as Mahila Swasthya Karyakarta (female health workers). In Rajasthan it is a 2-year course: 18 months of training plus a 6-month internship.
