Who can apply for RAKCON M.Sc Nursing 2027?
You can apply if you are a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with a B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree and one year of nursing experience. The 2026-27 prospectus sets these conditions:
- Degree: B.Sc (Hons) Nursing of the University of Delhi, or a 4-year B.Sc Nursing of a recognised university, with at least 55% aggregate marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST, so 50%).
- Post Basic route: Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from an INC-recognised centre or IGNOU, with one year of experience before or after the course.
- Experience: one year of nursing work in a teaching hospital, a hospital of at least 100 beds or a community health agency, counted up to April of the admission year.
- Registration: you must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN and RM).

How many M.Sc Nursing seats does RAKCON have?
RAKCON has 25 M.Sc Nursing seats plus 2 supernumerary seats for persons with benchmark disabilities. Half the seats are for University of Delhi graduates and half for others.
- Category-I: 50% of seats for B.Sc (Hons) Nursing graduates of the University of Delhi.
- Category-II: 50% of seats for graduates of other universities.
- Reservation: SC 15%, ST 7.5%, OBC (non-creamy layer) 27%, EWS 10%, and 5% for children or widows of armed forces personnel (CW).
- Supernumerary: 5% for PwBD candidates, one seat for a foreign national and two seats for RAKCON faculty.
