Which courses need the RMLAU Entrance Exam 2027?
Only five courses used the entrance test in 2026: LL.B. (3-year), LL.M., M.Ed., B.Pharm. and D.Pharm. Most other RMLAU courses now admit on merit or on CUET scores, so check the route for your course before you apply.

For LL.B. (3 and 5-year), M.Ed., B.P.Ed. and M.P.Ed. seats in affiliated colleges, the 2026 notification says admission is valid only through the university’s own process, not through admissions made by the colleges.

You apply online on the RMLAU admission portal on Samarth, the same portal used for every 2026-27 course. The old site rmlauentrance.in still shows 2024 admissions, so do not use it for 2027.

These are the 2026 fees from the 20 May 2026 notification; the 2027 fee may change. In 2026 the form window for the entrance-test courses ran from 18 to 31 May, and applicants could correct academic details on the portal until 30 June 2026.
Who can apply for RMLAU Entrance Exam 2027?
Eligibility depends on the course. These are the rules listed on the admission portal for 2026-27:
- LL.B. (3-year): as per Bar Council of India (BCI) norms.
- LL.M.: LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) with at least 50% marks.
- M.Ed.: B.Ed., B.A.-B.Ed., B.Sc.-B.Ed., D.El.Ed. or B.El.Ed. with at least 50% marks, as per NCTE norms.
- B.Pharm. and D.Pharm.: as per Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) norms, with Class 12 in science.
Admission stays provisional until the university checks your original documents, and you lose the seat if you do not pass the qualifying exam.
What is the RMLAU Entrance Exam 2027 pattern?
Each paper has one-mark multiple-choice questions with four options, answered on an OMR sheet, and there is no negative marking. This is the 2026 pattern from the official question booklets:

The 2026 LL.B. paper had English and Hindi language questions, general knowledge, reasoning and questions on the Indian Constitution and polity. In the pharmacy papers you answer either the Maths part or the Biology part, and Physics and Chemistry are compulsory.
Where is the RMLAU Entrance Exam held?
The test is held in Ayodhya. In 2026 the centres were buildings on the university’s old and new campuses plus degree and inter colleges in Ayodhya city. LL.B. and D.Pharm. were in the morning shift (9:00 to 11:00 AM), and B.Pharm., M.Ed. and LL.M. were in the afternoon.
