Assam D.El.Ed previous year question papers for the SCERT entrance test (PET) of 2022, 2024 and 2025 are here as free PDFs to download, and the 2023 page links one memory-based questions video and two unofficial answer key videos, since no 2023 paper is available. No official answer key is on this page. PET is a 100-question, 100-mark, 2-hour OMR test with 0.25 mark cut for a wrong answer, and the 2025 paper is the closest match to PET 2027, expected in July 2027.

What a SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET Paper Looks Like
The 2025 PDF is a retyped copy of the Pre-Entry Test held on 13 July 2025. It has 100 multiple-choice questions over 20 pages, each printed in Assamese first and then in English. The questions run in blocks: general knowledge first, General English from Q16, reasoning from Q26, mathematics from Q36, then social science and science, and the last 15 questions (Q86 to Q100) are the Assamese language section, printed in Assamese only. The paper does not print section headings, marks or time.
There is no official key for the 2025 paper, so these five are plain facts or arithmetic with answers we checked ourselves.

How to Use SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET Previous Year Papers?
- Sit the full paper in 2 hours. That is 72 seconds a question. The Assamese language block (Q86 to Q100) and the general knowledge questions are short, so bank time there for the maths and reasoning questions.
- Guess only when you can rule something out. With 0.25 mark cut for a wrong answer, a blind guess among four options is worth only about +0.06 marks. Ruling out two options raises that to about +0.38.
- Solve 2025 first, then 2024 and 2022. Check general knowledge answers yourself, because no official key is published, and note any current-affairs questions that are now out of date.
- Practise on an OMR sheet. PET is a pen-and-paper test, and marking more than one bubble counts as a wrong answer. With PET 2027 expected in July 2027, one paper a month leaves time to repeat each paper twice.
