How to Apply for SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET 2027
You apply online only, at scertpet.co.in, once SCERT Assam opens the PET 2027 form, expected in May 2027. The steps and fee below follow the latest official process and may change in the 2027 notice.
Apply Online for SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET 2027
Applications for SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET 2027 are expected in May 2027.
- Go to scertpet.co.in and register with a valid mobile number. Keep this number unchanged until admission is over, because it is your login.
- Fill in the application form. Choose your exam district carefully, because you can only get a seat in the teacher education institutes (TEIs) of that district.
- Upload a colour passport-size photo (JPEG, up to 100 KB) and your signature in black or dark blue ink (JPEG, 3.5 cm x 2.5 cm, up to 100 KB).
- Upload PDFs (up to 450 KB each) of your HSLC or Class 10 admit card or certificate as age proof, your HS (10+2) pass certificate and marksheet, and your caste, PWD or EWS certificate if any.
- Pay the fee online by net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
- Download the acknowledgement receipt and keep your Application ID safe until admission is complete.

Who can apply for SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET 2027?
You can apply if you are a permanent resident of Assam, have passed HS (10+2) with the required marks and fit the age limit. These rules come from the latest brochure and will be confirmed in the 2027 notice.
- Residence: permanent resident of Assam.
- Qualification: HS (10+2) from a recognised board or council with at least 50% marks in aggregate, excluding the optional, extra or fourth subject.
- Marks relaxation: 5% (so 45%) for SC, ST(P) and ST(H) candidates.
- Age: 18 to 34 years as on 1 July of the admission year, so 1 July 2027 if the rule is unchanged.
- Age relaxation: 2 years in the upper age limit for SC, ST(P) and ST(H) candidates.
- Reservation: seats for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), PWD and EWS as per the Assam reservation policy. PWD means at least 40% visual, hearing or orthopaedic disability.
What is the SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET 2027 exam pattern?
PET is a 2-hour pen-and-paper test of 100 multiple choice questions for 100 marks, answered on an OMR sheet. Each correct answer gets 1 mark and 0.25 mark is cut for every wrong answer. Topic lists are on the SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET 2027 syllabus page.
