SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027 is the University Entrance Test that Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, Srinagar, holds for J&K domiciles seeking its UG degrees, such as B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, B.V.Sc & A.H., B.F.Sc and B.Tech. The form is expected in April 2027 and the test in June 2027.

SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027 Important Dates

SKUAST Kashmir has not announced the UET 2027 dates yet. In 2026 the admission notice came out on 13 April, the form was open from 16 April to 17 May (after an extension) and the test was held on 14 June, so UET 2027 is expected in June 2027.

Which courses are filled through SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027?

For candidates domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir, UET decides admission to almost every SKUAST Kashmir bachelor’s degree, including B.V.Sc & A.H. The route is different for NRI-sponsored and other-state candidates, and for the B.Tech in AI in Agriculture.

This is the 2026 admission notice. Class 12 merit means aggregate marks without the language and fifth subject. In 2026 the B.Sc Economics and Data Science test was held apart from the 14 June UET. B.Tech AI in Agriculture students study part of the course at IIT Mandi.

Kashmir Reader reported about 900 UG seats in 14 disciplines for 2026. The 2024 brochure also lists 15% extra seats in each UG programme except B.V.Sc & A.H., filled by ICAR, and 15% extra B.V.Sc & A.H. seats filled through VCI on NEET merit. These do not go through UET.

How to Apply for SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027

You apply only online, on the SKUAST Kashmir admission portal. The form is expected to open in April 2027. In 2026 it was open from 16 April to 10 May, and the last date was later extended to 17 May.

1. Read the UG admission notice and information brochure for 2027-28 on skuastkashmir.ac.in when they are out.
2. Open the admission portal (admissions.skuastkashmir.ac.in) and register with your own mobile number and email.
3. Fill in your personal, category and Class 12 details, and choose the programmes you want.
4. Upload your photo, signature and the documents the form asks for.
5. Pay the fee online by credit card, debit card or net banking.
6. Submit the form and keep a printout. You will need it at counselling. Keep your login details safe too.

These fees are from the 2026 admission notice and may change for 2027. J&K domiciles who also want an NRI-sponsored seat must fill a separate form.

Who can apply for SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027?

You can apply if you have passed, or are appearing in, Class 12 with English and the science subjects your programme needs. UET itself is for domiciles of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.

• B.V.Sc & A.H., B.F.Sc, B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Sericulture, Biochemistry and Microbiology: Class 12 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• B.Tech Food Technology, Biotechnology and Dairy Technology: Class 12 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.
• B.Tech Agricultural Engineering and B.Tech AI in Agriculture: Class 12 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• B.Sc Economics and Data Science: Class 12 in Science, Commerce, Business Management or Arts, with Mathematics, Statistics or Economics as one subject.
• Marks for J&K domiciles: at least 50% aggregate in Class 12 for Open Merit, and 40% for reserved categories.
• Marks for NRI-sponsored and other-state candidates: 50% for B.V.Sc & A.H. and the two B.Tech engineering courses, and 60% for the other programmes.
• Age: 17 to 28 years. In 2026 this was counted as on 31 December 2026.

What is the SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027 exam pattern?

UET is one offline OMR paper of multiple-choice questions with four options each. Every section has 45 questions, each correct answer gets 1 mark, and there is no negative marking.

Question counts and timings are from the UET 2026 exam notice and final answer key, and the marking rule is from the university brochure. The questions come in four booklet series, A to D. In 2026 the test began at 11:00 AM at centres in Srinagar and Jammu.

What is the SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027 syllabus?

The UET syllabus is the latest Class 11 and 12 syllabus of the J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) for each subject in your stream. Physics and Chemistry are common to all streams. The third and fourth sections are Biology, Mathematics or Agriculture.

• Physics: the full JKBOSE Class 11 and 12 Physics syllabus, from mechanics and thermodynamics to optics and modern physics.
• Chemistry: physical, inorganic and organic chemistry at Class 11 and 12 level.
• Biology: botany and zoology units of Class 11 and 12, such as cell biology, physiology, genetics, ecology and biotechnology.
• Mathematics: Class 11 and 12 algebra, calculus, coordinate geometry, vectors, statistics and probability.
• Agriculture: the Class 11 and 12 Agriculture syllabus, for the PCA stream.

How to Download the SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027 Admit Card

The admit card is posted online only, about two weeks before the test. In 2026 it was available from 10:00 AM on 1 June for the 14 June exam.

1. Go to skuastkashmir.ac.in or the admission portal.
2. Log in with the user ID and password you made while applying.
3. Download the admit card and check your name, photo, roll number, stream and exam centre.
4. Print it. You need it at the centre and again at counselling.

• Report about 1 hour before the test. Candidates more than 30 minutes late are not allowed in.
• Bring your own blue or black ballpoint pen. Mobile phones, calculators and other electronic gadgets are not allowed.
• Fill in your roll number, booklet number and booklet series on the OMR sheet. Darken one circle per question.
• No admit card is issued on the day of the test. If you cannot download it, contact the Controller of Examinations at least a day before.

When is the SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027 answer key released?

The provisional answer key is posted on skuastkashmir.ac.in very soon after the test, for all four booklet series and streams. In 2026 it came out on the exam day, 14 June, and the revised and final key followed on 19 June.

• Objections: in 2026 these were accepted from 15 to 17 June, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on working days.
• How: submit the Annexure-A form with documentary proof, in hard copy, to the Controller of Examinations, SKUAST-K, Shalimar.
• Fee: Rs 200 per question, paid by demand draft or bank deposit. It is refunded only if your objection is accepted.
• The final key is binding. OMR sheets are not rechecked or re-evaluated.

In 2026, two questions were challenged. One Physics question was deleted, and the answer to the Biology question did not change.

How to Check the SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027 Result

The result is a rank card or scorecard that you download from your applicant login. Based on the 2026 cycle, the UET 2027 result is expected in July 2027.

1. Open the SKUAST Kashmir admission portal.
2. Log in with your application credentials.
3. Open the UET-UG result or scorecard link.
4. Note your marks and rank, and save the scorecard for counselling.

Merit is made from UET marks. Under the 2024 brochure, ties in most programmes were broken by UET marks in Biology, then Chemistry, then Physics, then Class 12 marks, and finally age, with the older candidate placed higher.

What is the expected SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027 cut off?

SKUAST Kashmir does not publish a cut off list, but its 2026 mop-up notice shows how far down the merit list admissions went.

How does SKUAST Kashmir UET 2027 counselling work?

Counselling is held after the result, on the SKUAST Kashmir admission portal, with automatic seat allotment by merit, category and choice. In 2026 registration ran from 22 to 25 August, followed by several upgradation rounds and two physical mop-up rounds on 31 October and 2 November.

1. Register for counselling on your applicant dashboard in the window given. Registration was free in 2026, and unregistered candidates are left out.
2. Check and update your category, Class 12 marks and, where needed, NEET or JEE Main scores and documents.
3. List your programme choices in order of priority.
4. Say for each programme whether you will accept a self-finance seat.
5. Accept the allotted seat, pay the seat booking fee and finish admission on the portal.

Mop-up rounds are held in person at Nund Reshi Hall, Shalimar campus, and you must be in the hall when your name is called. Bring originals and one set of self-attested copies of your date of birth certificate, Class 12 marksheet, domicile certificate, application printout, admit card, counselling slip, seat booking fee receipt and four passport photos.
