How to Apply for TS AGRICET 2026
The 2026 application window ran from 1 to 31 August 2026 and is now closed. The next form, for AGRICET & AGRIENGGCET 2027, is expected in July or August 2027 on the same PJTAU portal. Applications are accepted online only.
Apply Online for TS AGRICET 2026
The TS AGRICET 2026 application window (1 to 31 August 2026, 10:30 AM (1 Aug) to 4:00 PM (31 Aug)) has closed.
- Open the AGRICET application portal (linked from pjtau.edu.in) in Chrome or Firefox.
- Complete the one-time registration (OTR) with your own or a parent’s mobile number.
- Fill in the application form and save a preview before final submission.
- Upload scanned documents in JPG/JPEG, each under 100 KB: photo (3.5 x 4.5 cm), signature (3.5 x 1.5 cm), SSC memo, study certificates from Class 4 to the diploma, diploma OGPA certificate, transfer certificate, and caste, EWS, income or residence certificates if they apply.
- Pay the fee by net banking, debit card or credit card. An application number is generated after payment.
- Download the PDF application and keep the printout; you must bring it, with originals, on the counselling day.

The fee is not refunded, and no change is allowed after the fee is paid. In-service candidates must upload a no objection certificate from their department.
Who can apply for TS AGRICET 2026?
Only diploma holders can apply; Class 12 students cannot. Intermediate (BiPC/MPC) students enter PJTAU’s B.Sc. and B.Tech. courses through TG EAPCET or ICAR’s CUET instead.

Candidates can write only the test for their own diploma category. Seats follow Telangana rules: 85% for local (OU area) candidates and 15% unreserved, as per G.O. Ms. No. 15 of 27 February 2025.
How many seats are filled through TS AGRICET 2026?
The seats are a small share of PJTAU’s degree intake, set aside for diploma holders.

Each test is a paper-based (pen and paper) test of 100 objective multiple-choice questions, held in physical mode.

How are TS AGRICET ranks used for admission?
PJTAU allots seats by AGRICET or AGRIENGGCET rank through offline counselling at Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, following the reservation rules.
- Ties are broken by total test marks, then the diploma aggregate percentage, then the SSC overall grade point, and finally age (the older candidate ranks higher).
- In 2025, AGRIENGGCET counselling was held on 7 October 2025 and the final AGRICET phase on 29 November 2025.
- Regular-quota admission fee in 2025-26 was Rs 49,560, paid at the allotted college, plus a Rs 3,000 registration fee (Rs 1,500 for SC, ST and PH).

Is TS AGRICET the same as AP AGRICET?
No. TS AGRICET is run by PJTAU in Telangana. The Andhra Pradesh test with the same name is run by ANGRAU, Guntur, for its own diploma holders; see AP AGRICET (ANGRAU). The two have separate forms, papers and counselling.
