UPRTOU B.Ed Result 2027: Date, Merit, Counselling

The UPRTOU B.Ed result 2027 will show who qualified the B.Ed and B.Ed SE entrance of Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University for session 2027-28. It is expected in August 2027, a few days after the exam. In 2026 the result came on 11 August and counselling began on 17 August.

Latest (14 September 2026): UPRTOU held third-phase B.Ed and B.Ed SE counselling for session 2026-27 on 14 September 2026. Registration for the 2027 entrance is expected in June 2027.

How does the UPRTOU B.Ed merit list work?

Admission is based only on entrance marks. Only candidates who pass the entrance and fall within the merit list are called to counselling.

Study centres are allotted by overall merit, seats available and reservation rules.
UP government reservation applies to UP-domiciled SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), EWS and other reserved groups.
Candidates with 40% or more disability get horizontal reservation.
In B.Ed SE, parents of a disabled child get up to 10 marks of weightage.
UPRTOU does not publish category-wise cut off marks in the brochure.

What happens at UPRTOU B.Ed counselling?

Counselling is held in person at Prayagraj on dates posted on uprtou.ac.in. In 2026 it began on 17 August, and the third phase was on 14 September 2026.

Download your counselling letter from the entrance portal.
Pay the counselling fee online: Rs 600, or Rs 300 for UP SC/ST candidates. It is not refundable.
Report on your date with original marksheets, certificates, the affidavit, and photocopies. B.Ed candidates also bring the teaching experience or training proof in the brochure format.
Pay the first-year programme fee online: Rs 25,000 for B.Ed or Rs 20,000 for B.Ed SE.
Get your study centre allotted. Allotted centres cannot be changed.

If you miss your counselling date, your claim lapses and the seat goes to the waiting list.

UP reserved candidates need a UP government format certificate. OBC candidates need a non-creamy layer certificate issued within one year of the counselling date.

Can I get a refund after counselling?

No. The counselling fee and the programme fee paid after counselling are not refunded.
