How to Apply for UPRTOU B.Ed 2027
You apply online only, on the UPRTOU entrance portal linked from uprtou.ac.in. In 2026 registration ran from 27 June to 17 July 2026, with a late-fee window up to 23 July and a two-day correction window after that.
Apply Online for UPRTOU B.Ed 2027
Applications for UPRTOU B.Ed 2027 are expected in June 2027.
- Open the B.Ed / B.Ed SE entrance application link on uprtou.ac.in.
- Register with your name, father’s name, date of birth, programme, domicile and category.
- Upload a recent photo and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
- Pay the entrance fee online by net banking, debit card or credit card.
- Save and print the confirmation page sent after payment.
- If needed, log in again during the correction window to fix errors.

These are the 2026-27 fees. The programme fee is separate: Rs 25,000 a year for B.Ed and Rs 20,000 a year for B.Ed SE, paid at counselling.
Who can apply for UPRTOU B.Ed 2027?
The B.Ed (ODL) programme is only for trained teachers. You must have at least 50% in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, social science, humanities, agriculture or commerce, or 55% in B.E./B.Tech with specialisation in science and mathematics.
- B.Ed: you must have completed an NCTE-recognised teacher training course (such as D.El.Ed/BTC) in face-to-face mode, or be a trained teacher working in a primary school.
- B.Ed SE: the same degree and marks rule applies, but a teacher training qualification is not required.
- Teaching subjects: your graduation must include two of Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Home Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Economics and Commerce (or one at graduation and one at intermediate).
- Reservation and relaxation apply only to candidates domiciled in Uttar Pradesh. Reserved candidates from other states are treated as open category.
- You must meet the eligibility by the counselling date.
How many seats are there in UPRTOU B.Ed and B.Ed SE?
Each programme had 500 seats plus 50 EWS seats in 2026-27. B.Ed runs at 13 study centres across Uttar Pradesh. B.Ed SE runs at 11 centres in hearing, visual and intellectual disability specialisations, with 50 seats per centre.
B.Ed takes a minimum of two years and a maximum of five. B.Ed SE takes two years for candidates with an RCI-recognised D.Ed (Special Education), and two and a half years for others.
What is the UPRTOU B.Ed 2027 exam pattern?
The entrance is one 3-hour objective paper with two sections of 100 questions each, marked on an OMR sheet.
