AP PGECET 2027 (Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) is the state test for M.Tech, M.Pharm and Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) admission in Andhra Pradesh. A state university conducts it for APSCHE; Andhra University, Visakhapatnam ran the 2026 test. AP PGECET 2027 is expected in April 2027, with applications from February.

AP PGECET 2027 Important Dates
APSCHE has not announced the AP PGECET 2027 schedule yet. In 2026 the notification came on 4 February and the test was held from 28 to 30 April, so the 2027 notification is expected in February and the exam around April 2027.

How to Apply for AP PGECET 2027
You apply for AP PGECET 2027 online on the official CETs portal once the notification is out. There is no offline form. You pay the registration fee first and then fill in the form with the payment reference ID. If you want to write more than one paper, you must choose all of them in the same application and pay the amount shown.
Apply Online for AP PGECET 2027
Applications for AP PGECET 2027 are expected in February 2027.
- Read the instruction booklet and its branch table to find the paper that matches your degree and the M.Tech or M.Pharm course you want.
- Pay the registration fee online through AP Online or the payment gateway (credit card, debit card or net banking) and note your payment reference ID.
- Open Fill Application and enter your payment reference ID, qualifying degree hall ticket number, mobile number and date of birth.
- Fill in your details: SSC hall ticket number, places of study from Class 9, MeeSeva caste and income certificate numbers, ration card and Aadhaar number (Aadhaar is mandatory).
- Upload a passport-size photo (.jpg, up to 50 KB) and your signature in black ink (.jpg, up to 30 KB).
- Submit the form, note your registration number and use Print Application Form to keep a copy.

In 2026 the last date without a late fee was 20 March. Late fees of Rs 1,000, Rs 2,000, Rs 4,000 and Rs 10,000 then applied in steps up to 1 April, and a one-day correction window followed on 3 April. Your caste, community or category cannot be changed once the form is submitted.
How to log in to the AP PGECET 2027 candidate portal?
You use the AP PGECET candidate portal to fill in and print your application, check your fee payment, download the hall ticket, see your response sheet, raise objections on the preliminary key and get your result and rank card.
- Open the official AP PGECET website. The 2027 links will open with the next registration, expected in February 2027; the site live now still shows the AP PGECET 2026 services.
- Click the service you need, such as Download Hall Ticket, Response Sheets, Results or Download Rank Card. AP PGECET has no single login with a password; each service asks for your own details.
- To fill in the form, enter your payment reference ID, qualifying degree hall ticket number, mobile number and date of birth. The print page also asks for your registration number.
- For the hall ticket, enter your registration number, qualifying exam hall ticket number and date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy), and select your exam paper. For the result, response sheet and rank card, use your registration number and AP PGECET hall ticket number; the rank card also asks for your date of birth.
- Submit the details. Your form, hall ticket, response sheet or rank card opens on screen, ready to download and print.
Forgot your payment reference ID or registration number? There is no password to reset. Know Your Payment Status on the same site checks your payment when you enter your qualifying degree hall ticket number and mobile number. Your registration number is printed on your application form, so keep that printout. For other problems, the 2026 helpdesk was [email protected] and 8331865313 (10 AM to 5 PM).
Who can apply for AP PGECET 2027?
You can apply if you hold, or are in the final year of, the bachelor’s degree linked to your chosen course. These rules are from the 2026 instruction booklet and may be revised for 2027.
- Nationality: Indian, belonging to Andhra Pradesh and meeting the state’s local or non-local status rules.
- Degree: a relevant bachelor’s degree (B.E., B.Tech, B.Pharm or equivalent) with at least 50% marks, or 45% for reserved categories, from an AICTE or UGC approved institution.
- Final-year students can write the test, but must pass all subjects of the degree on or before the counselling date.
- Courses: M.Tech, M.Pharm and Pharm.D (PB) only. M.E. and M.Arch are not listed in the 2026 booklet.
- No age limit is given in the instruction booklet.
In each course, 85% of the seats are reserved for local candidates and 15% are unreserved. Eligibility is checked at admission, so a rank alone does not give you a seat.
Which AP PGECET paper should I write?
AP PGECET is one paper per branch. The 2026 test had 13 papers, each held in one shift, and you write the paper linked to your degree branch and the course you want.

One degree can open several papers. For example, the 2026 booklet lets B.Pharm graduates write Pharmacy, Biotechnology or Nano Technology, and Chemical Engineering graduates write Chemical, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Nano Technology or Geo-Engineering. What is the AP PGECET 2027 exam pattern?
Every AP PGECET paper is a 120-minute computer-based test of 120 multiple choice questions for 120 marks. The table shows the 2026 pattern, which is the guide for 2027.

The official website has mock tests for each paper, so you can practise the computer-based format before the exam. In 2026 the test was held in 17 towns across Andhra Pradesh, including Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur, Tirupati, Kurnool and Anantapur.
