ABVMU sets the syllabus at B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course level and lists subjects, not chapters. The 2026 bulletin split the 120 marks like this:

What is the UP M.Sc Nursing CNET 2027 exam pattern and marking?
The paper has 120 multiple-choice questions to be answered on an OMR sheet in 140 minutes.
- 1 mark for each correct answer, 120 marks in total.
- No negative marking for wrong or multiple answers.
- Questions are in English only.
- Ties are broken by Section A marks, then Section B, then Section C, then age (older first).

How to Prepare for UP M.Sc Nursing CNET 2027
- Revise your B.Sc. Nursing textbooks for the five Section A subjects first, since they carry 66 of the 120 marks.
- Cover Section B with short notes on anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology and nursing foundation.
- Do not skip Section C: research and statistics, nursing management and English are quick marks.
- Take full 120-question timed tests on an OMR sheet; with no negative marking, attempt every question.
ABVMU has not published past CNET question papers, and the question booklet must be handed back after the exam.
