ABVMU has not announced the 2027 schedule yet. In 2026 the form opened on 28 March and the exam was held on 6 June, so the 2027 form is expected around March and the exam in June 2027.

How to Apply for UP M.Sc Nursing CNET 2027
You apply online only, through the CNET link on the ABVMU website. Forms sent by post are not accepted. The 2027 link will open with the information bulletin, expected around March 2027; the steps below follow the 2026 process.
Apply Online for UP M.Sc Nursing CNET 2027
Applications for UP M.Sc Nursing CNET 2027 are expected in March 2027.
- Open the ABVMU website, click the CNET link and press Register for M.Sc. Nursing/NPCC.
- Enter your name, parents’ names and date of birth exactly as on your Class 10 certificate, plus gender, email, mobile and WhatsApp number, category and sub-category.
- Verify the OTPs sent to your mobile and email. Your Registration ID and a one-time password arrive by SMS and email.
- Log in, change the default password, and fill personal details, address, education details (Class 10, Class 12 and your nursing degree) and three exam-city choices.
- Upload a live photo (webcam or phone camera), a passport-size photo with your name and date on it, your signature and the handwritten Verification Sheet.
- Preview the form, tick the declaration and pay the fee online by debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. The form is submitted once payment is confirmed; print it.

The fee is non-refundable and cannot be carried to a later exam. Choose your course with care: the choice of M.Sc. Nursing, NPCC or both made in the form is carried into counselling. In 2026 a correction window from 13 to 20 May allowed changes to a few fields only.
Who can apply for UP M.Sc Nursing CNET 2027?
You can apply if you are a registered nurse with a nursing degree who meets the Indian Nursing Council (INC) rules. The 2026 conditions, expected to continue, are:
- Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN and RM) or equivalent with the UP Nurses and Midwives Council.
- B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing passed with at least 55% aggregate marks.
- M.Sc. Nursing: at least one year of clinical or teaching experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing, or before or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- NPCC: at least one year of clinical experience on the same basis, preferably in a critical care setting.
- Minimum age of 17 years on or before 31 December of the admission year, and Indian citizenship.
Government colleges admit only Uttar Pradesh domicile candidates: a UP domicile certificate, Class 10 and 12 both passed from Uttar Pradesh, or a nursing degree from a recognised college in Uttar Pradesh. Reservation follows UP Government rules, with 5% horizontal reservation for eligible PwD candidates.
What is the UP M.Sc Nursing CNET 2027 exam pattern?
The test is a pen-and-paper paper of 120 multiple-choice questions at B.Sc. Nursing level, in three sections, with no negative marking. The 2026 pattern was:

Which colleges admit students through UP M.Sc Nursing CNET?
All M.Sc. Nursing and NPCC seats in the following institutes are filled only through this CNET; there is no direct admission.

How does admission work after the CNET result?
Seats are allotted through ABVMU online counselling in order of CNET merit and your choices of college, course and specialty. In 2026 there was Round 1 and a mop-up round, followed by stray and special stray rounds held on campus at ABVMU Lucknow.
- You register with your CNET Registration ID and password and pay Rs 500 (non-refundable) plus a Rs 5,000 security deposit.
- After allotment you accept (freeze) or decline the seat in your login, and pay a Rs 40,000 seat confirmation fee that is adjusted against the college tuition fee.
- You then report to the allotted college with original documents for verification.
- Check each college’s INC recognition, fee, hostel and transport details before filling choices.
