How to Use AIIMS M.Sc Nursing Previous Year Papers?

  • Keep to one minute a question. 90 questions in 90 minutes leaves no slack, so move on from any question that takes longer than 90 seconds and come back at the end.
  • Guess only after ruling out options. With 1/3 mark lost for a wrong answer, a blind guess among four options averages 0. Ruling out one option makes it about +0.11, and ruling out two makes it about +0.33.
  • Give Medical-Surgical Nursing the most time. It has 25 of the 90 questions in both the 2024 and 2025 PDFs, more than any other section.
  • Read the reasons, not just the key. The 2024 and 2025 PDFs explain each answer. Note the rule or value behind every question you get wrong, such as the colour of each BMW bin.
  • Plan for 19 June 2027. That is about seven and a half months away (the date is tentative). Solve all three papers twice before you move on to full mock tests.
