Is Assam PAT 2027 being held?

No. The Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) is no longer conducted. Under a Government of Assam letter dated 3 April 2024, the State Council for Technical Education (SCTE) admits students to government polytechnics on the basis of their HSLC or equivalent marks, with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects.

Ranks are generated from your HSLC marks after you register and your documents are verified. The brochure does not publish the exact ranking or tie-break formula, so you do not need to prepare for any written test. DTE Assam also runs B.Tech, lateral entry and MCA admissions, explained on the DTE Assam admission 2027 page.
