CENTAC Merit Lists Biology based

For all Biology-based Degree courses, i.e. for B.P.T., / B.Sc.,(Nursing) / B.Sc. (MLT)., admission is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the prescribed subjects in the qualifying examination (i.e. Biology / Botany & Zoology, Physics and Chemistry, including practical’s) and ‘normalizing’ them by the prescribed procedure.

Equal weightage will be given to all the above three prescribed subjects. In case a candidate has appeared in more than one of the prescribed optional subjects, the subject in which the candidate has obtained the highest marks will be taken into consideration for ‘normalization’ and for calculating the actual total marks, in the prescribed subjects.

Wherever separate marks for practicals are awarded, the same will be considered along with the respective subjects, for arriving at the total actual marks and hence the ‘normalized marks’
