How does CENTAC NEET counselling work?
CENTAC fills Puducherry’s MBBS, BDS, BAMS and B.V.Sc. & A.H. seats on NEET UG rank, in online rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and a stray round. The process is part of CENTAC 2026 counselling.
- Apply online on centacpuducherry.in and choose your quota and course preferences.
- CENTAC publishes a draft merit list, a revised draft list and then the final merit list, all based on NEET UG 2026 rank.
- Seats are allotted round by round from your preferences. You download the provisional allotment order and complete admission at the college.
- Government quota seats are only for residents of the U.T. of Puducherry. In government colleges they are split by region: 75% U.T. of Puducherry, 18% Karaikal, 4% Mahe and 3% Yanam.
- Unfilled NRI MBBS and BDS seats become All India General seats in Round 3, and unfilled Government quota BDS and BAMS seats become management or self-supporting seats.
