Only the exam date is fixed so far; the other 2027 dates are expected months based on 2026. In 2026 the form ran from 2 to 27 March 2026, so the 2027 form is expected in March 2027.

How to Apply for CG PET 2027
You apply online on the CG Vyapam candidate portal once the 2027 notification is out. The board kept the same website and portal after it became CGSSB in 2026.

Applications for CG PET 2027 are expected in March 2027.
- Open cgssb.cgstate.gov.in and find the PET 2027 online application link.
- Create your one-time candidate profile on the CG Vyapam profile portal if you do not already have one.
- Log in and fill the PET form with your personal, category, domicile and Class 12 details.
- Upload your photo and signature in the size the notice asks for.
- Pay the fee online by net banking, debit card or credit card, and submit the form.
- Print the confirmation page. If you spot a mistake, fix it in the correction window that follows.

Which courses can you join through CG PET 2027?
CG PET scores are used for five courses. The PET 2026 result notice named the same list: B.E./B.Tech, B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech (Food Technology), B.Tech (Dairy Technology) and Diploma in Dairy Technology.
For B.E./B.Tech, DTE Chhattisgarh fills seats in rank order. Chhattisgarh natives are placed first from the PET merit list and then from the JEE Main list. Seats left after that go to candidates from other states, again PET first. Private colleges keep 15% of seats as management quota.
Who can apply for CG PET 2027?
You need Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics. These are the rules in the latest B.Tech admission rules (2023, amended 2024):
- Class 12 (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a technical vocational subject.
- For B.Tech admission, at least 45% in the three main subjects together. Chhattisgarh SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates need 40%.
- You must pass each of the three main subjects separately in theory and practical.
- Students in Class 12 in 2027 can apply, but must pass before admission.
- You do not need Chhattisgarh domicile to sit the test, but state natives get seats first.
- The B.Tech admission rules set no age limit. Agriculture, food and dairy technology courses follow their own admission rules.
What is the CG PET 2027 exam pattern?
CG PET is one offline OMR paper of 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks in 3 hours, as per the official PET 2026-27 scheme of examination.
