How to Use CU-CET Previous Year Papers?

  • Solve only your programme’s papers. Questions are set from the eligibility subject of each programme, so an MSc Chemistry paper tells you nothing about MCom. Download your programme’s papers for 2021 to 2025 and work through them newest first.
  • Check how your test is marked. If your test is objective-only, a wrong answer costs marks (in MCA 2025, +4 and −1), so guess only when you can rule out an option. If it has descriptive questions, there is no negative marking, so attempt everything.
  • Sit for 2 hours on paper. The test is pen and paper with OMR sheets, so practise shading answers by hand within the 2 hours.
  • Plan around the sessions. Tests run in six sessions over three days and you can take one programme per session. If you apply for more than one programme, practise each one’s papers separately.
