DUAT 2027, the Dibrugarh University Admission Test, is the entrance test for 2-year PG programmes and the 4th year of the integrated PG programme at Dibrugarh University, Assam. The DUAT Board of the university conducts it. It replaced DUPGET in 2026. The 2027 notification is expected in May 2027, with the test around June 2027.

DUAT 2027 Important Dates
Dibrugarh University has not announced the DUAT 2027 schedule, so the dates below are expected from the 2026 cycle, when the notification came on 4 May 2026 and the result on 8 July 2026.

How to Apply for DUAT 2027
You apply online only, through the DUAT link on dibru.ac.in once the 2027 notification is out. In 2026 the last date was extended to 31 May 2026 (4:00 PM), and a correction window ran from 1 to 4 June 2026.
Apply Online for DUAT 2027
Applications for DUAT 2027 are expected in May 2027.
- Open dibru.ac.in and read the DUAT 2027 notification for your programme’s eligibility.
- Open the online application link and register with your mobile number and email.
- Fill in your personal and academic details and choose the programme or programmes you want.
- Upload your photo, signature and the documents asked for.
- Pay the application fee online and submit the form.
- Download and keep the submitted form; use the correction window if you need to fix a mistake.

Who can apply for DUAT 2027?
You need a bachelor’s degree in the subject you want to study, with the marks set for that programme. The 2026 rule for M.A. Philosophy shows the usual pattern:
- Bachelor’s degree with Major or Honours in the subject, with at least 45% marks or equivalent grade.
- Or a bachelor’s degree (General programme) with at least 50% in the subject and 45% in aggregate.
- Or the 6th semester of the four-year UG or integrated PG programme under NEP 2020, with the subject as Major.

What is the DUAT exam pattern?
DUAT is an offline, OMR-based test of multiple-choice questions, written for the programme you apply to.

How does admission work after the DUAT result?
After the result you apply for admission yourself on the SAMARTH admission portal, using your DUAT score.
- Check your DUAT score once the DUAT result is out.
- Wait for the separate admission notification with the schedule, eligibility and procedure.
- Apply on the SAMARTH admission portal with your DUAT score; there was no application fee for this step in 2026.
- Follow the department’s merit list and admission dates to confirm your seat.
