Haryana PG Medical Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria, on the basis of last year examination, is mentioned below. Candidates can check for the same.
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate has passed MBBS/BDS examination from recognized University/Institution situated in Haryana as a bonafide resident of Haryana or has passed MBBS/BDS examination from any other Medical/Dental College/Institution recognized by the Medical/Dental Council of India and whose parents produce(s) a Haryana Resident Certificate as per Govt instructions.
- Candidate has completed satisfactorily one-year compulsory rotating internship from institutions recognized by the Medical/Dental Council of India for this purpose.
- The candidate is registered permanently with State Medical Council(MCI) at the time of admission.
- Must possess a certificate of good conduct from the head of the institution last attended.
Note: The candidate shall have to submit all the above-mentioned original certificates at the time of counselling without which admission to P.G. course shall not be granted. Attested photocopies of certificates/documents is not considered valid for the purpose of counselling. All admissions shall be provisional subject to verification/checking of eligibility for admission at the time of counselling
A student who is already admitted to any PG course including PG Diploma course in any Institution is not eligible to apply until the completion of the course. An undertaking to this effect shall be given by the candidate. Concealment of facts would invite disqualification without assigning any reason
After commencement of PG Courses(Degree/Diploma), if a candidate has joined the course leaves it before completion of the full period:-
- He/she is debarred for the next three years from applying for admission to any PG Course (Degree/Diploma) in the State.
- He/She have to pay the Bond Money Rs.7,50,000 for PG Degree/Diploma Course for which Bond shall be executed at the time of admission.
Haryana PG Medical Admission 2020 Counselling Process
Stage 1: Counselling Registration
First of all, candidates have to register themselves for the counseling process. The prospectus cum application form can fill in according to the instructions supplied. The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the University dmerharyana.org. Candidate has to fill the application form and send the same to the office of the Controller of Examinations, Pt. B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak on or before the last date of application. The university is not held responsible for delay due to any reason whatsoever and no application is entertained after due date and time.The following details is based on previous year details.
Registration Fee:
- Unreserved Category – Rs. 3000/-
- PwD/ SC/ BC – Rs. 750/-
Stage 2: Document Verification
After the registration process, candidates is called for document verification. Candidates have to carry all the original documents at the Pandit B.D sharma University of Health Science for verification. The list of eligible candidates is uploaded on the official website.
Stage 3: Choice Filling
After the document verification, selected candidates have to fill their choice of course/ Specialty/ Institute on the official website.
Stage 4: Allotment of seats
Allotment of seats is done based on merit list of NEET PG 2020. Candidate’s choice is considered as final for allotment. A final number of seats in each speciality in each category is provided on the official website of Pandit B.D Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
Haryana PG Medical Admission 2020 Filling of Vacant seats
If the seats remain vacant after 1st round of counselling than the seats are filled during 2nd round of counselling.
- Fresh candidates have to register themselves on the official website. Fresh candidates have to carry all the original documents for 2nd round of counselling.
- Those candidates who have already registered are not required to registered again for the second round of counselling.
- Candidates who wish to take part in the 2nd round have to fill their choices again.
- Allotment of seats is made on the basis of NEET PG 2020 merit.
- If the seats remain vacant after 2nd round of counselling than the seats are filled as per the direction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare/ Government of India/ Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India/ State Government.
A candidate who can take part in the 2nd round of counselling as given below:
- Registered candidates who have not been allotted a seat in 1st round
- Registered candidates who did not get their document verification done during the 1st round.
- Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round but have not joined.
- Candidates who have joined the seat allotted during 1 st round but wish to upgrade their seat (The option is available on the log-in of the candidates)
A candidate who can take part in the 2nd round of counselling as given below:
- Registered candidates who have not been allotted a seat in 1st round
- Registered candidates who did not get their document verification done during the 1st round.
- Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round but have not joined.
- Candidates who have joined the seat allotted during 1 st round but wish to upgrade their seat (The option is available on the log-in of the candidates)
Documents to be required at the time of Haryana PG Medical Admission 2020
The candidates, at the time of reporting, must bring the following Original Certificates/Certificates along with two sets of duly self-attested photocopies of these with them.
- Matriculation Certificate/High School Certificate/ICSE/Class X or its equivalent certificate as proof of date of birth.
- Certificates of having passed MBBS/BDS examination from Institution recognized by MCI/DCI.
- Three copies of recent passport size photographs (self-attested).
- Character Certificate of from the Head Of Institution last attended/First Class executive magistrate.
- Certificate of SC/BC if claiming any benefit.
- Certificate of permanent Registration with StMedicalicar/Dental council/MCI/ DCI at the time of counselling.
- Result card of NEET-PG 2020.
- As proof of identification Adhaar Card/Pan Card/ Driving license/Passport/Voter ID/Ration Card/any other.
Haryana PG Medical Admission 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria
If two or more candidates get the same marks than the rank is decided on the tie-breaking criteria. The tie is resolved on the mentioned below points:
- A candidate who has higher marks in NEET PG 2020 and NEET MDS 2020 shall be placed higher in rank.
- A candidate who has higher aggregate marks in the MBBS/ BDS exam is ranked higher.
- The candidate who is older in age gets a higher rank.
Note:
- The number of seats in various above courses may vary depending upon the permission granted by MCI/DCI Govt of India/State Govt. at the time admission.
- The roster shall be maintained for allotment of seats for Institutional Candidates and PH Category Candidates.
- Final number and distribution of seats are displayed before the commencement of counselling.
- Distribution of seats is subject to the applicability of State Reservation Policy as and when notified by the State Government.
