How to Apply for HITSEEE 2027
You apply for HITSEEE online on the HITS application portal, which still shows the 2026 form. The 2026 form opened on 5 November 2025 and closed on 22 April 2026, so the 2027 form is expected around November 2026.
Apply Online for HITSEEE 2027
Applications for HITSEEE 2027 are expected in November 2026.
- Open the HITSEEE application portal and choose the Register tab.
- Register with your name, email ID and mobile number, then verify your email.
- Log in with your registered email and password, or use Login via OTP.
- Fill in the form, choose the programme (B.Tech, B.Arch or B.Des) and upload the documents asked for.
- Pay the application processing fee online and save a copy of the submitted form.
HITS has not published the HITSEEE 2027 fee yet; the portal shows it during the application. If you forget your password, use Forgot Password on the login tab to reset it with an OTP. NRI applicants apply through the separate NRI application form.
Who can apply for HITSEEE 2027?
You can apply if you are an Indian national residing in India and meet the Class 12 marks and age rules below, which HITS listed for HITSEEE 2026.
- B.Tech: an average of 60% or more in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12 (+2 or Intermediate), counting these three subjects only.
- B.Tech Biotechnology: an average of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology.
- Cambridge (A Level) students: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at A Level and English at AS Level.
- NIOS Class 12 students must have passed Class 10 through regular schooling, or the other way round.
- B.Arch: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and at least 50% aggregate, plus a valid NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 score, as per Council of Architecture norms.
- B.Des: an average of 60% in Class 12 in any stream.
- Age: at least 16 years and 6 months on 31 July of the year in which you take the Class 12 board exam.

The HITSEEE application covers three undergraduate programmes at HITS, Chennai: B.Tech (4 years), B.Arch (5 years) and B.Des (4 years).

What is the HITSEEE 2027 exam pattern?
HITS has not published the HITSEEE 2027 pattern. HITSEEE is an online test, and the last pattern HITS listed on its admission page has 120 questions in four sections, for 120 marks in 2 hours with no negative marking.

How are HITSEEE seats allotted?
