How to Use HP Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Previous Year Papers?
- Allow 72 seconds a question. 100 questions in 120 minutes is about 24 minutes for each 20-question section. Do the paper on an OMR-style sheet so the bubbling time is part of your practice.
- Mark every bubble. There is no negative marking, so a wrong guess costs nothing. Never leave a question blank.
- Know the tie-break order. Ties are broken by section marks in this order: Medical Surgical, Psychiatric with Fundamentals, Paediatrics, Midwifery, then Community Health. Strong Medical Surgical marks can lift you above a candidate with the same total.
- Plan for August 2027. Applications are expected in July 2027, about nine months from now. Solve the 2026 paper first, then 2024 and 2021, and revise your GNM notes section by section between them.
